Pat Caddell: For Democrats, ‘Everybody Is Roadkill’ on Path to ‘Beat Kavanaugh’
Breitbart ^ | September 24,2018 | Robert Kraychik

Posted on 09/25/2018 5:24:20 AM PDT by Hojczyk

“It is frightening how people’s lives are damaged, I mean, are thrown away,” stated Caddell. “Everybody is roadkill when it comes to their desire to succeed in their goal, which is to beat Kavanaugh, whether it destroys him, his family, whatever — whether the charges are real or spurious. … [This will cause] people to not want to be in public life. Who wants this done to them? All in the name of a political goal.”

Caddell described Senate Republicans as acquiescing to partisan pressures from Democrats and Democrats’ news media allies.

Caddell The Republicans in the Senate should have moved this a week ago. They should have told [Christine Blasey Ford] if she wanted to come and testify, that she would testify today or last Friday, and if not, they should have just moved ahead. They weren’t going to get any points out of this, not with the media doing what it’s doing, not with the Democrats doing what they’re doing, which is anything to stop Kavanaugh, which has been their objective all along.”

Caddell added, “I think it’s partly [because Republicans] have bent over so backwards that they have twisted into a pretzel, and to their detriment. … Republicans are the ones that can’t play hardball. This should have been resolved last week.”

Caddell continued, “[Republicans] have done it all the way through. They’ve allowed themselves to be mow-mowed, if you will, by people like Senator Hirono. … The Democrats would never support [Brett Kavanaugh], no matter what. What do they think they’re going to do here?”

Caddell noted an undermining of the idea of presumption of innocence: “This notion that you’re guilty until proven innocent, or first the verdict then the trial is like Alice in Wonderland — ‘Off with their heads!’ — is really disturbing. …

It will cause conservatives not to want to be in public life -- liberals can get away with anything, just ask Bill Clinton -- and that is the political goal.

These Republican Senators had better vote to confirm Kavanaugh today or tomorrow so they can clear his name. They owe this to him because this confirmation was so botched and they allowed this and are continuing to allow it. Ford will not show up Thursday because of her demands, so they should call off the hearing and hold a vote today or tomorrow. Call all of the Senators today and tell them they will bear responsibility for smearing Brett Kavanaugh if they fix this NOW!

The Senate is quite corrupt. There are RINO’s who want this to lose every bit as much as the Democrats, they just want plausible excuses to back stab their voter's. This country is not looted of Trillions every year because of honest representatives.A Supreme Court that actually follows the Constitution is their biggest fear.

People are not as stupid as Democrats think. They are repulsed by this vile effort to destroy the life, career, and family of this find Christian man. The Democrats assume that most women share the values of their core cult, anti fertility feminists. They do not. They have husbands and sons and know what is happening. There is a backlash growing in intensity and emotion that is reminiscent of the force that elected Trump. The Democrats have overplayed their hand and the astute among them now realize the harm they have done to themselves and the American people.

They’ve allowed themselves to be mow-mowed, if you will, by people like Senator Hirono

A quibble, but I believe the term is "Mau-Maued"

I agree. These incompetent fools are doing FAR more damage to the process and our system of “justice” than if they’d simply brought it up for the votes and held those hold-out Republican bastards feet to the fire.

Not only is it a disaster, these losers seem to be utterly incapable of understanding that it IS a disaster. Where the hell was Grassley yesterday? Hiding under a desk with Jeff Sessions? Where the hell are the Republicans - even the “good” ones like Cruz calling this out for the smear job that it is? Seriously - it’s up to Trump and Kavanaugh himself to have to embarrass himself like he did on Fox News while these Republican bastards sit there, do nothing, and try to figure out how they’re going to get out of this with the least political damage to themselves - because that IS, ultimately, all that ANY of them care about.

A pox on them. All of them. >:-(

I believe Caddell has been banned from tv. I haven’t seen him in several years now. Has anyone else? I don’t watch Hannity.

Notice the two women both have “vague recollections” of what happened giving them cover for perjury and not being held responsible for this abomination. This allows them to be “weaponized”.

This tells the tale that this is nothing but political warfare and a cynical attempt at using the “me too” meme to destroy a good man.

The more women they line up as victims they figure the more legitimacy it carries without having to prove anything.

One of their hacks was on Ingraham last night stating that Cosby was thought of as a good man and look at what happened with him inferring that Kavanagh fits the same description.

This is the ultimate despicable low.

“Notice the two women both have “vague recollections” of what happened giving them cover for perjury...”

I noticed that right away. Ford’s accusations were all “I felt he was going to...” or “I was afraid...” — no statements of fact ANYWHERE, so what could you nail her for? You can’t prove that she DIDN’T “feel” or WASN’T “afraid” ... so how do you get her on a perjury trap?

These people are pure evil.

The plan is that our people - conservatives - must be saintly - able to walk on water...

And democrats?

The standard for them is they can run rapists and the suckup sh*ts in the press will beg for knee pads...

Most of the writers today were not alive during the Mau-Mau years and probably were never taught this in high schrool so they would thiMk that he said mow-mowed.
