The view of the left of those of the right is that our core constituency is made up of people of religious convictions who will disassociate with a person who has done wrong or will not support evil doing politicians, especially old religious church ladies and gentlemen...that is how we are stereotyped.
That play book got thrown out in 2016 when Republicans including many evangelicals went for Trump....that is why the left is so flummoxed. The old sex smear and the Republican honorably resigns or withdraws doesn’t work anymore and the left instead are dealing with a more flint faced angry voting block that the “old tricks” don’t work on any more. The threats of violence by leftist groups aren’t working to intimidate like they hoped.
Kavanaugh has not withdrawn or resigned like they hoped and is willing to brave the upshot of smears and even not being confirmed...but it will put the senate on record as to who voted yea or nay. I pray every nay vote sears the consciences of the senators voting as such like the mark that was applied to Cain!

Corroborates absolutely nothing. How stupid are they and that includes her husband.

June 29th is not well before July 9th and we can be certain Ford had followed Kavanaugh’s career; it is no coincidence she first revealed her story of being assaulted in high school when his name was up for a probable USSC court should Romney win the presidency. She was laying the groundwork for her accusation.
The statements are hear say. Not admissible in a court of law. Should carry no weight in a Senate hearing. So maybe she lied to four people. So what?

I count it as a plus in Kav’s favor that he managed to be a federal judge while still in high school.

She doesn’t know where the party was, how she got, there, when it happened, how she got home, who all was there but 36 years later she remembers she had only one beer. Is this what we call selective memory?
Hearsay is not corroboration.
One of these corroborating statements says she was upset enough that the person asked her what was wrong.

The minute this whole thing came up about the party....there’s probably 4,000 Maryland kids from this era who all sat there and thought....well....I remember this party and six sluts passed out...was I at this Ford party, and am I the fake-Kavanaugh that she dreamed up?
I actually think that Ford was all doped up on pills...attended some party but doesn’t remember much of anything. The doc, by trying to do some recall episode....is just messing with a dimwit who was too drugged-up to remember much of anything.
If she told them “well before his Supreme Court nomination”... define “well before” and explain why she and they waited until right before his nomination to speak up.

According to one of the people they were told by Ford that she “ran away and hid” after being groped. I don’t remember her original statement mentioning that she “ran away and hid”. The letter stated she first locked herself in a bathroom then ran outside of the house and went home.
I have wondered why at such a small party her behavior did not attract any attention. IT seems to me that a girl visibly upset running out of the house would have made somebody say “hey what happened?” and it would have been mentioned to her or others soon afterward. The same goes for the boys being stumbling drunk. They would have been ragging each other about it. I remember high school what Ford claims happened would not have happened in a vacuum. It would have been talked about. Especially in the small town environment they lived in.
She is a west coast radical liberal. She has probably used a lot of drugs. Self medicating. They should ask about her drug history.
