Fox News reporting FBI investigating Ramirez and Swetnick claims
September 29, 2018

Posted on 09/29/2018 8:33:30 AM PDT by NKP_Vet

NeverTrumper Neil Cavuto reporting the FBI has reached out to the idiots Swetnick and Ramirez. If this is the case Wray ignored Trump’s directions for a limited supplemental background investigation. This is 100% BS. These are not credible accusations and neither is Ford’s. This is a witch hunt.

Statement from President @realDonaldTrump: “I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”

These two weaken the other accusation.

Correct.

Investigating these absurd claims makes sense. In the case of a single accuser, like Ford, it is always helpful to determine whether or not there are any other legitimate accusations. A single accusation of abuse is not as substantive as if there are multiple accusers.

Once it is established that there are NOT multiple credible claims of abuse, then the question devolves into the evidence presented by the only accuser. Is it credible or not? It's hard to imagine that an unbiased view of Ford's evidence could EVER be considered credible. Therefore the conclusion becomes incredible by unbiased evaluation.

Ford will be isolated by this and will need to substantiate more than she has to make the claim against Kavanaugh credible.

Also, I believe that there are honorable people at the FBI; not all are corrupt.

**************

They may want to do the right thing but most careerists highly value their job security. I’ve worked in bureaucracies and people who value their careers and retirement benefits don’t rock the boat. They do what management wants and/or indicates they want (without specifically writing or saying it). And we know for certain that the management at the FBI has been politicized.

With respect to Trump’s order, here’s what he said:

“I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”

That’s it. An update limited in scope. Pretty open to interpretation I would say. I wish it had been more specific, by the FBI will do what it will do. Rod Rosenstein has clearly demonstrated that many times regardless of what the president wants.

I'd like to see the FBI investigation expanded to include the behavior of Ford's attorneys and Feinstein.

Who is going to get the results from the FBI's background investigation? The Senate Judiciary Committee. In the 302s will be everything the FBI uncovered during this process. It would be up to the Committee to evaluate the information. From that information, not only can the Committee inform all Senators of what they find with regards to character of the candidate for the Supreme Court, they can also refer charges against other people to the DOJ for prosecution -- which will cause the launch yet another FBI investigation, interpreted by a DOJ prosecutor, into the issues contained in those charges. Perhaps the formation of a grand jury.

This process survives the mid-terms; nothing the Democrats can do to stop it. For proof, the Dems only need look at the investigation of Russian interference in the elections. THAT one survived a change in Presidents.

The game has only begun...

A former FBI agent said this morning that she’ll likely be asked to do another polygraph as this plays out.

Not good for her....

Trump really was very short in limiting and let the ball drop. The FBI hates Trump and don't give a damn what the President says..

Even if he had been overly exacting, they will do what they want, would ignore it.

I suspect they will be looking to see if Kavanaugh was colluding with the Russians.

Sorry, but if she was awarded a Ph.D. in psychology she is entitled to be called a psychologist.

This stuff varies from state to state. If you don't pass the licensing exam for the various professions, you might not be able to identify yourself in such a way to suggest you have a license to practice that field in that state.

“I actually think the FBI investigation will be a net plus for Judge Kavanaugh in the end. They’re not going to find anything. They’ll only bolster Kavanaugh’s testimony. And when Democrats resume all their bluster about “impeaching Kavanaugh!” Republicans can say, “For what?” and use the additional FBI investigation they so demanded against them.”

Good point. An FBI investigation can negate any impeachment drive down the road against Kavanaugh.

"According to Trump it's only a Kavenaugh supplemental background investigation. In such an investigation, they ask other people about the subject of the investigation. They don't investigate the other people. "

I didn't know that.

We'd better get word to Robert Mueller!

;)

Ramirez was so drunk, she didn’t know what was going on.

Swetnik is wackadoodle and had a an ex (married cheating on his wife) bf take out a restraining order on her. There’s also violence upon others in her history.

I’m not so naive not to know high school and college guys get drunk and try all sorts of vulgar things against girls but each of these accusers are all nutso drunk skanks and unbelievable. Up until a few days ago, K has had a scandal free 30 past years.

Agreed. I hope the FBI management and culture is largely cleaned up, as posted elsewhere on this thread.

"“I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file. As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.” That’s it. An update limited in scope. Pretty open to interpretation I would say. That's what he said to us. I was wondering what he said to them.

No under california licensing she is not allowed to call herself a psychologist. That is why Stanford fixed their website. She can say she has a phd in psychology.

If only the FBI would investigate that precocious widdle 3 year old voice and behavior of hers with students, associates and neighbors. And get copies of her real hand writing to compare with the polygraph statement signed with a fake first and last name.

It was obvious her lawyers gave her a makeover with makeup, hair coloring and styling and extensions. Before the makeover, she looked like a bag lady. After, she sounded and acted like a crazy homeless person.

The more time that passes, the more things Ford will be confused about.

Hey, Crissy, your granny’s funeral was the day before the polygraph.

This will sink Ford and the others. Ford is in deep do do now.... they will show clearly that this is a fabricated theatrical game......

Unless the demonrats who were all too much stressing this investigation didn't already have the fix in and the agents hand picked.

I sure hope most of the questions were for Ford. Rachel Mitchell was not very good in her questioning. Never asked what I consider to be important questions. What song was playing? Were there snacks or food at the party? Did she have her shoes on? Was it a twin or double bed? Was it a teens room or the parents? I could go on and on.

I totally disagree about Rachel Mitchell. She did a great job which I'll explain, but before that I'll ask everyone:

Given that Flake and the other RINOs had already conspired with the RATS to negate the entire day (recall that Flake said he had been in ongoing talks with the RATS for a while about making sure they do due diligence when he called for the FBI investigation), how could anything that Mitchell did have changed matters including that she informed them at the end of the day that she did not find enough to go forward with a prosecution of Judge K?
That being posed, here are the three main things that Rachel Mitchell did with her questioning of Ford and Judge K that were great.

It seems like people were looking for fireworks in the questioning of Ford and when they didn't occur, it meant that Mitchell did a lousy job. That's obviously not the case. She did a great job. Again, though, it ultimately doesn't matter whether she did the great job I believe or the lousy job you believe, because that hump and three quarters Flake was always going to call for an FBI investigation.
