I appreciate the horse-trading and careful negotiation Mitch has been engaged in, but I feel that the time has come to just hold the damn vote and let the chips fall where they may.
If we lose Kavanaugh on this round we might just gain two or three Red-State Democrat seats from the outrage over it. It could be a worthwhile trade.

I think it’s all down to Murkowski. Collins seems like she’s been a yes.
If Collins and Murkowski are yes, then I think Flake is yes.
Flake would be a no if they didn’t have the votes.
If Collins, Murkowski and Flake are yes, then we may see Manchin and Donnelly and maybe a couple of other Dems go yes.
They wont know untill the vote is taken, they can only lose 1 and nobody knows for sure what’s in that FBI report.
If this is coming from corker, I’ll believe just the opposite. They don’t have the votes.
