There is a picture of Feinstein facing Heitkamp with DiFi’s left hand high on the wall, with Heitkamp’s back to the wall & unable to move away.

I am NO expert in body language, but that picture tells me that Heitkamp was being terrorized by Feinstein.

Put your body language experts to work on that.....

Homely Heidi was behind prior to the Kavanaugh hearings. Then dropped like a rock over night after the Bolshevik riots that occurred. Supposedly 11 pt. drop in polls. Buh bye!

I stand corrected. Vermont is home to left-wing idiots, not Missouri, which is home to more right-wing idiots. How could I miss that one?

LOL. It’s important not to hear what the witnesses are saying in a trial. That way, you don’t have to worry about whether the charges have any substance or corroboration.

All that matters are appearances. And that’s modern politics.

Her first job out of law school was working for the EPA, and into politics from there. That explains a lot. If your never interviewed clients in jail or anywhere else for that matter, you probably don’t recognize what you would come to know as prima facia lies, like I only had one (or two) beers. You probably don’t have a good grip on the body language of a guilty client vs one who actually didn’t do it. You wouldn’t understand why you want first-time jurors if, like Ford, your client has a silly story and not much else.

It was a pretty lame attempt at a Kerry-esque excuse, wasn’t it; “I was going to vote for his confirmation until I turned off the sound and...”

So many of these people think we’re as dumb as they are.

Exhibit A as to why women will never (and in my opinion, should never) rule the world.

We communicate not only with words, but with our body language and demeanor.

But it is easy to misperceive and misinterpret data and create/construct a "reality" that is false. It is easy to create a pattern, or connections, or relations out of chaos or ambiguity. Listening to spoken words helps to confirm one's initial conclusions based on sight.

Women like Christine Blasey Ford and Heidi Heitkamp are living, breathing Islamic anti-woman propaganda.

Of interest is that the ND Tax Commissioner job was a stepping stone for 3 dem senators, don’t forget Dorgan.

IMO, Dorgan and Conrad were the blue dog variety that actually cared for their state. Dorgan in particular fought left wing ideology at Theodore Roosevelt National Park in order to get the Elk herds thinned out by hunting, whereas the leftist nutjob superintendent had no plan at all and just let the herd get larger than the park’s size could handle.

Then came the obamacare forced vote where all had to vote for it, and both Dorgan and Conrad stepped down. Now enter leftwing Heidi and swampster Hoeven, a open boarder RINO. Both need to go.

More “demeanor” B.S., because independent thinking Dims cannot do, and have to follow the theme agendas assigned to them.

Great point about Dukakis! The old “damned I’d you do, damned if you don’t” dilemma, huh?

I don't know that I would ever describe Dorgan and Conrad as Blue Dog Democrats, just not quite as bat$#*+ crazy as most of the far left.

As you may know, Dorgan eased from the Tax Commissioner's office into the congressional office when Mark Andrews moved over to the seat vacated by the death of Sen. Milton Young.

He had quite an uninspiring first term (1981-83). The GOPe thought they would do something very clever and nominate an anti-life feminist to run against him in 1982. She promptly lost by over 40% and Dorgan never had another tough election.

Comrade Conrad was his successor in the tax office and knocked out Mark Andrews in the 1986 election when Andrews got caught screwing the pooch (long story). In 1992, Conrad announced he was retiring and Dorgan ran for and won the seat.

Lifetime seat warmer Sen. Quentin Burdick (he won election because he had a famous Daddy) finally went room temperature shortly thereafter. His wife was appointed to complete his term and Conrad announced he was unretiting and moved over to win it.

The only thing saving the open congressional seat from another tax commissioner is that Heitkamp had been elected Attorney General by this time. So they settled for an insurance commissioner.
