A UNC-A instructor is charged with a misdemeanor after accusations that she stole a political sign.
Mike Summey, treasurer of the local political action committee Angry Buncombe Taxpayers, says he saw associate English professor Amanda Wray and an unidentified woman grab the sign Friday, near the intersection of Leicester Highway and Mt. Carmel Road.
Wray turned herself in Sunday morning.

Indeed I do remember that rotten family. The year I referred to was the year we got rid of them...1986. Operation Westvote put a fed behind every bush on election day. They fixed all the “adjustments” the democrats had made to our voting machines and we finally voted ‘em out of office after 30 long, corrupt, violent years.

Smear the signs and sign posts with poison oak oil (urushiol I think it’s called), you will know who the thief is in about 24 to 30 hours.
Wait I minute, you think I know that? Why read the news? Why don’t I just make up crap in my head and pretend it is reality?
My point is, this is a crap piece of journalism. I should not have to assume anything. Why can’t the reporter say who it was, what the sign was, what party puts the sign up?
They might as well have had an article that said there was a minor crime, period, which is practically what they said.

Having been on this forum for 18 years one would think that some of this stuff would be intuitively known by you.
ie: “What party”....Always Democrat if not mentioned.
“Why did they do it”....That’s what Democrats do.
I am not talking about forum, I’m talking about the article. Nothing is supposed to be intuitive when reading a report in the paper. A similar report from this reporter would have been someone was killed and someone did it possibly for some reason. The reader should not have to intuit who the players are and why it happened.
All reporting is going this way. Frequently one reads the police are looking for a suspect but the paper provides no description.
