Republican lawmakers have hinted for months that the FBI failed to provide federal judges on the surveillance court with information that undercut the governments premise for opening the Trump-Russia probe in 2016.
Republicans have suggested in interviews that the information related to George Papadopoulos, the former Trump campaign adviser whose conversation with an Australian diplomat prompted the FBI to open its investigation into the Trump campaign.
Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe provided Sunday the clearest picture to date of what the FBI allegedly withheld from the surveillance court.
Ratcliffe suggested that the FBI failed to include evidence regarding former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, in an interview with Fox News.

Like they say “there’s what you know, and what you can prove.” She proved the conspiracy led into the Obama Oval Office.
He was good enough for government work.
Definitely seems kudos to Admiral Rogers are deserved. He went to the FISA court to inform them of the fraud on the court, and then to the Trump Tower. When FBI got wind of of the fact that Rogers was going to to court the FBI tried to beat him to the punch to file some additional documents. Rogers seems to be the sole patriot in all of this mess.
The fact the Rod Rosenstein is either a material witness or active participant, and yet still took control of the SP assignment is troubling. And the fact that he assigned the job to Mueller - who was Comey’s mentor and friendly with McCabe and others - gives the whole thing the feel of a cover-up, a whitewash, a mop-up operation whatever you want to call it. It is not a stretch at all to speculate that Mueller was assigned to protect the conspirators as much as anything else. And the way his commission was written to “investigate Trump and Trump campaign” rather than “the 2016 election” which would have included HRC and the other candidates is another tell-tale sign.
My only question is whether RR was a ringleader/insider, or just more of a dupe who got swept in by Comey and the others. Lately his closeness with Trump is some kind of signal either he feels he was betrayed and turned on the conspirators somewhere along the way, or he was a white hat, or Trump and others were able to flip him... They tried to throw RR under the bus with these recent news reports of him wanting to wear a wire and get the Cabinet to force a 26th Amendment ouster of Trump was a bizarre twist especially in light of the way Trump has been acting like they are old pals lately.
When the RR stories dropped several Trump allies warned it was a trap and not to fire him. But that could have been a misread. It may have been aimed at RR, not a Trump. And we don’t really know who leaked the story. They speculated it was McCabe but could it have come from the DOJ or WH or Trump allies?
I hope this was meant to be funny because it sure made me laugh!
