That's a pretty good factoid.
This is called “leverage”...a concept Trump has understood very well almost since birth. When you have it, you keep it and use it prudently. You do not do what most FReepers would have him do. That’s why he is Trump.
Schiff seems to be a great candidate for retaliation.
Interesting point, about Trump dealing with mafia types in the New York construction business. Trump had to be tough to deal with some of those guys. Maybe by comparison, dealing with Washington politicians isn’t as tough.
Normally I love the these public pronoucements, but I think this is one that he should have emailed Adam Schiff in private. Otherwise, it looks like tit for tat. The democrat leaks of classified information are a real and significant crime.
Yeah, I am thinking that there are a lot of things that could be investigated, not just leaking.

Clinton emails

I had a vending machine route with machines in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Manhattan in the 90s.
So we’re talking about THOUSANDS on the line, not millions.
And to hold onto my spots I had to do such things as drag another guy’s (connected guy) vending machine out of a bowling alley and smash it with a baseball bat to get the news out that you don’t MESS with my spots.
Trump HAD to prove he was not to be messed with, in order to build that kind of empire.
D’s will not know what hit them.
I don’t like him doing it this way. It makes it look like he’s going to implement some sort of retaliation plan. That’s how it will be framed. He should be finding leakers and getting them charged regardless of democrat baloney. By not doing it all along, and now saying he’ll only do it if they investigate him, it looks like it’s just baloney from him too.
