>>>Time to fill one of them campaign promises, Mr. President<<<

He is the POTUS, not the King.

Now that the House is in the hands of the Rats come January, this is a last gasp effort to get something done and the lame duck GOP controlled Congress holds all the cards.

Blaming POTUS Trump for the actions of 535 Legislators is ridiculous. Welcome to the Jungle.

These are the Republican Congress people who told Trump that they would pass the wall spending after the election. What more do you need to know?

We’re looking at a complete tear-down and rebuild of the Republican Party here (which ain’t gonna be pretty as it’s going to create openings for Democrats to run amok until its done).

Gonna take time. Likely beyond Trump’s two terms.

He needs to make this a national defense issue and build the wall using Defense funds. Ike did that with the national highway system

He may not be a king but he has a veto pen he can use until he fulfills his main campaign promise.

Or, he can roll over, his choice.

Can’t see him getting a second term if there’s no wall by then

That’s what the Senate is looking forward to - no wall, no DJT. Ryan’s House passed a 5 billion wall funding bill, only to see it killed by Mitch & Co.

Thanks Mitch!!

A Veto won’t get the Wall built.

The Legislature ties other things into their Bills such as funding the Military. He Veto’s a Bill because he didn’t get the Wal funding he wanted and he is raked over the coals for not funding everything else attached to it.

A Line Item Veto would be great, but it is Unconstitutional because it puts the Executive Branch in a position of controlling the purpose of the Legislative Branch.

It’s a Political game, nothing more, nothing less.

The house passed a 5 billion dollar fundiig bill, it is dying in the Senate - not House members or Ryan’s fault. Mitch is the problem.

Deploy more military, especially engineers. Dig trenches, bunkers, berms, barbed wire, tank traps. Defense in depth with multiple lines.

CIC has constitutional duty to order military to protect the nation from any type of invasion. He could easily create a military defensive zone along the southern border.

And the Congressional Republicans wonder why they got the crap beat out of them during the midterms.

They aren't wondering anything - they (excluding Trump, of course) got exactly what they wanted from this election. Aside from Trump making a bunch of campaign appearances leading up to the elections, what evidence is there that the GOP exerted any effort to hang onto the House?

President Trump:

Have a press conference-—a SHORT one—and inform the country that you are starting a GO FUND ME account to BUILD THE WALL.!!!

ANY donations are accepted. I would bet that within 30 days, there would be enough $$$$$ to build the WALL. IF more is needed, send out another request later.

Then also announce that VOLUNTEERS with construction experience will also be process & used to add labor & support facilities to the construction of the WALL.

Give those volunteers a place to ‘camp’, feed them for free in military mess hall, use their wives & girlfriends to help with the cooking. Some of them can do the laundry of those men who are single.

Work 24 hours a day—& use kleig lights during the dark hours. Keep the mess tents open 24 hours a day for food, and other similar tents for gathering among those who are on off hours.

Bring in Semi Trailers (TIDE has them) to do the laundry, and Porta potties.

I would bet $10 out of my Social Security that the web site for signups would crash within 48 hours.

I would also bet that there would be more volunteers than could be used. That would mean that those most talented could be assigned after processing. ONLY American citizens allowed. Photo ID will be required, plus proof of skills. NO ILLEGALS.

Construction companies would still be involved, but any complaints from ANY UNIONS would be dismissed out of hand.

This country provides hundreds of volunteers to help with floods-—hurricanes—fires—and other disasters.

Let those who wish to volunteer be used. BUILD THE WALL.

It was not Trump. I believe he honestly thought we could get the wall because so many people, not politicians, were behind him and the wall.

The House passed 5 billion, it’s the Senate that doesn’t want to do it.

“The Legislature ties other things into their Bills such as funding the Military”

True but military funding is fungible and he can prioritize. He could also declare an emergency at the southern border. He should consider withdrawing troops abroad (Europe?). Certainly no more funding for “green” or LBGTQ BS.

He got talked out of holding out for it early in his term, when he should have drawn the line. Pence and Javanka were all for healthcare first — and then he got that pulled out from in front of him after months of congressional dallying.

It’s amazing what he’s got done so far on the economy and started on foreign affairs.

But the Swamp unfortunately still toys with him at this point.

It was just one example of the crap they throw into a Bill.

It’s a Political trap made worse by a Democrat controlled Propagandist Media.
