Why do you blame Mitch when it is Senators like Flake and Collins etc. who would vote it down. Mitch does not control them. An of course there is the 60 senator rule to get a vote to the floor. The 60 votes for cloture is not necessary for budget bills, only a majority 51 votes in the Senate. The Republican Senate simply does NOT want to give President Trump the funds for the Wall on this last set of budget bills proposed by a Republican House and Senate. The House proposed 5.0 billion and the Senate 1.6 billion, who knows if a conference committee reconciliation will get any money for the Wall, rather than just “border security” which covers everything but the Wall...

Force the issue...Trump should use his power as the CIC and close the border to all traffic from Mexico, slow search every truck and rail car for drugs, in weeks hundreds of millions of dollars in Mexican produce will rot....order the Treasury/IRS to stop the 60B in remittances back to Mexican banks until we’re sure it’s not drug money...f-congress...he has the authority...use it.
