I agree that the corrupt Mueller witch hunt needs to be ended. They have found no evidence and are just hurting innocent people.

I think Trump would end it if he could. But Congress has said they will impeach Trump if he fires Mueller and shuts down the corrupt investigation.

Maybe with Sessions gone Mueller can be stopped.

I’ve got a feeling that Mueller has backed himself into a corner and is looking for a way out.

“I believe that the specific details is “lying under oath”. Before one testifies before Congress, they are subjected to a swearing in which places them under oath and attaches the charge.”

I would never say ANYTHING to Congress, including asking where the bathroom was, without attaching a disclaimer phrase. ‘I’m not entirely clear on this, and don’t recall any of it very well. I’ll honestly do my best.’

Darn, I was hoping that Mueller had offed himself in disappointment that he found the colluding foreign power was Britain with the Obama/Hillary conspirators and not Russia.

Ha! If that were to happen, it would have happened right from the get-go, since he’s known the truth all along!

Gateway Pundit - Oct 2017

Of all people, why would the Head of the FBI be selected to transfer uranium to Russia? It would seem that the US has a number of individuals who could perform this transfer and it would seem that FBI Director Mueller would have enough on his plate in the US. When Mueller couldn’t make the transfer in April the transfer was postponed to September so Mueller could be there.

The fact that Mueller needed to perform the transfer should raise numerous red flags. It’s been widely reported about Mueller’s conflicts of interest with his recent appointment as special counsel in the Russia investigation.

This past week information was reported that prior to the Obama administration approving the very controversial deal in 2010 giving Russia 20% of America’s Uranium through the approved sale of Uranium One, the FBI had evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were involved in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering in order to benefit Vladimir Putin, says a report by The Hill.

From Tuesday’s report we found out that the investigation was supervised by then-U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein, who is now President Trump’s Deputy Attorney General, and then-Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who is now the deputy FBI director under Trump. We also know that former FBI Director Robert Mueller was the Head of the FBI at this time and was involved in this deal.

Sara Carter of Circa News interviewed Victoria Toensing, a lawyer for an FBI informant who said her client “is not only afraid of the Russian people, but he is afraid of the US government because of the threats the Obama administration made against him.” The individual in question faces criminal charges put in place by Obama’s Justice Department if he talks about the FBI investigation.

Mueller was hand picked by Hillary Clinton’s State Department to deal uranium to Russia.

This whole deal smells so bad. Why has Mueller not recused himself from the Russia investigation?

I always wondered what would happen if someone was called before congress under subpoena and then refused to swear to tel the truth due to religious reasons.

James 5:12

But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you may not fall under judgment.

Cohen has plead guilty to lying to Congress.

Why would Mueller have any jurisdiction over what someone says when testifying to congress? Am I missing something that is obvious to everyone else. I have missed the toilet while standing square in front of it, so it is possible!

Rhetorical question, I assume. Mueller is a corrupt political assassin who will not be done until President Trump is destroyed or dead.

“None of the “crimes” have anything to do with Russia or the subject matter area the special counsel was to investigate.”

If they restricted the special counsels to indicting people for the singular purpose they were convened, special counsels would never indict anyone.

Yes, but what if someone also rejected that statement as being an oath prohibited by the bible. In other words, what happens should someone refuse to swear to .... ANYTHING?

I wondered the same thing when I read the story. It seems to me the congressional committee would make a referral to the justice department first. Maybe there will be a more comprehensive report later today explaining what happened.

Per the fifth amendment, one does not have to answer if it might incriminate. If one does not take the fifth, one can be held in contempt by failure to answer. If one takes the fifth, taking the fifth CAN be taken by a grand jury in whether to indict. Obviously it has no weight in a court proceeding. So there are various scenarios in failure to communicate and they are bound by exactly what transpires. If they refuse to say whether they will tell the truth, that is tantamount to failure to answer. If they lie, it is still a form of perjury.

My wife asked me what happens when one says I do not recall. If it can be shown that your failure to recall is a ruse i.e. they can show you did recall the subject recent to the questioning, like if they recorded a conversation with you mentioning the incident about which you claim no knowledge, you can go down for lying.

IMO, the best choice is to say nothing if questioned by an agent: do not cooperate, do not furnish records, do not lie. If served process, just furnish what is requested, do not destroy anything unless you are HC. If called to testify, do not lie. If you plan on lying, take the fifth. If they give you immunity, you could go to jail for contempt if you don't answer which is a personal choice but do not lie.
