This may be why Stormy and Avenatti have parted ways.

She probably took his advice and thinks this is his fault.

I think its interesting that the award of attorney’s fees falls entirely on the client, and not at all on the attorney, who is supposed to know when he’s skirting the edge of acceptable practice.

Well with a shyster “acceptable practices” takes on different meanings.

I’ve asked this question before....when a lawyer takes a case on contingency and loses big, like in this case, isn’t he liable when they lose?

A real lawyer may have advised her that a malpractice suit against her attorney may be her only way out of this.

She might be better off if there's a judgement that this was truly one of the most frivolous lawsuits ever. It ought to help her inevitable lawsuit to stick Avenatti with it.

Who writes these laws? Attorneys!

Why is it members of Congress are able to pay off sexual harassment lawsuits using tax payer monies? They write the laws.

(I'm sensing a pattern here. Heads, the f'n lawyers win. Tails, the public loses.)

Well she claimed recently that he did not even have (or seek) her authorization to bring forward the defamation suit. Whatever the facts may be between Stormy and Avenatti, they are likely to tear each other apart now, each trying to avoid responsibility for paying Trump’s legal fees (and possible penalties).

I hope that Avenatti gets the worst of everything here, but Stormy and Avenatti should both go down.... eewwww I don’t mean in a porn way......
