Wrong. I have no particular animosity for Cruz. The fact is the Senate GOP has failed POTUS and the conservative platform we voted for. Unfortunately, Cruz is part of that failure. Cruz primary supporters need to take ownership of that and expect better of him.
You should understand the GOPe think we will happily return to our favorite GOP plantation conservatives post Trump. They count on that as they obstruct and defeat the conservative items on President Trump’s agenda. If Trump fails we will never have a chance to advance conservatism again. Guaranteed.
The issue is he KNOWS, with Certainty, it will not pass the Senate, and that no bill resembling it will be voted out of the House, where revenue/budget bills must originate.
He’s grandstanding, for real, not just a meme.
And he still has a well earned reputation for these symbolic and futile self-aggrandizing acts.
So now that midterms are over we go back to trashing a Conservative Senator? We go back to school yard names to describe a respected member of Congress? Furthermore what does it say about the pettiness of some within here with respect to a well liked Senator whose primaries ended long before the bellowing liberals crying over Hillary and her election defeat? Freaking get over it already. So sick of bellowing ninnies trying to “one up” the Cruz name of the week.

Fake conservatives and openly non-conservatives on this forum save their worst attacks for one of the very few conservative senators.
The same ones had nothing to say about the travesty that would happen if Beto actually had won. Why is that?
Does Cruz have faults? Sure. So does Trump. But we huddle around Trump because he is under attack by the left and RINOs.
But the same ones attacking Trump also hate Cruz equally.
There are scores of senators who deserve a tongue lashing. Why is it that Cruz seems to be the focus of vitriol here?
I contend that it is NOT because of his deficiencies, but because of his conservatism.
So, if you wish to team up with Soros, Planned Parenthood, butt-sex, child abuse promoters to attack one of the few conservatives, then all I can say is duly noted.

What exactly is it we are supporting? What is the road map to getting this bill to President Trump’s desk? I see none. It certainly appears this bill is little more than beltway theater virtue signalling since the chance this bill will ever become law is nil.
Kevin McCarthy launched a similar immigration bill to much fanfare as part his drive to be Speaker of House. Are you going to tell me Kevin “Chamber of Commerce” McCarthy is also a lion of conservatism? I don’t think so.

I’m going to go further and say that those who are still obsessed with attacking Cruz have deeply damaged this forum.
I’m not against criticizing those politicians who let us down, even the good ones, and even Ted Cruz. But there is a difference between constructive criticism and crazed out of their minds attacks.
We had some on here who couldn’t care less if Beto O’Rourke won. Anyone who has such an attitude is NOT on our side. They are the enemy every bit as much as Planned Parenthood and the Gay Mafia. It does not matter if the person who takes such a stance is a covert traitor or pathologically stupid. The outcome is the same.
