I have witnessed it over a lifetime. I cannot go anywhere and not be outnumbered by foriegn language speaking hordes. The Mexicans are VERY prolific and breed like cats, each woman has 6 kids and those six have six more and on and on.

Our politicians and academic elites have sold us out
””We have other ways that we can get to that $5 billion that we’ll work with Congress,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Fox News on Tuesday morning. She added that the Trump administration could support $1.6 billion in border security funding proposed by Senate Democrats, as long as it can “couple that with other funding resources” to get to $5 billion.
Excellent point!

Of course, the ability of a president to deliver on a campaign promises boosts his chances of elections BY A LOT.

So Dems will can to deny that!

I don’t switch easy but I’ve seen enough from Drudge in the last 2.5 years to send him to cyber oblivion.

But it misrepresents the story. Sanders herself said they would fund it otherwise.

Am I seriously replying to an idiot?

They said they would do it if they didn’t get the 5 billion.

They found another way to get the 5 billion. You keep ignoring this.

You are more pissed about not having a shutdown, more than the 5 billion. Ok? Just say that. You wanted the entertainment value more. They obviously cared about actually getting the funds to get going on construction.
////////////////////////////////////////////////

Sure. A guy that has made billions in real estate by knowing where every penny was being spent and how that penny would produce at least 2 pennies in the future went into a nationally broadcast meeting with Pelosi and Schumer and didn’t know every possible aspect of the wall issue that they would be discussing? In other words, it was only after Trump came out of that meeting that he ordered someone to investigate other avenues to come up with the 5 billion?

And go f yourself with the name calling. There is plenty of room for reasonable people to disagree on this and many other issues we are being blitzed with.

"Republicans wrote and Trump signed into legislation banning use of DoD funds to build the wall. Not sure if that was just that year of funding or standing law."

I do not remember that happening, do you have a link to the story ?

I always thought "posse comitadas" would not apply to the border

I read the story and Drudge’s headline put a negative and inaccurate slant on it.

Use your brain!

This could be a maneuver, a negotiating “dangle”.

So through his spokesmen Trump has signaled that he’ll pull funding from another source. Does that not mean Pelosi will pass a law to block such a move? Or they’ll just find a friendly court to challenge the movement of funds.

Signaling these people of his intentions is a mistake.

Because a business you run is the same as the behemoth of the federal government?

Ok.....makes total sense.

“And go f yourself with the name calling”

Nah. I like calling stupid people stupid, because they have a nasty habit of thinking the stupid stuff they say makes sense.

Yours is in deep freeze so you don’t even know its’s there!

You have to take this convo into childish territory ... it’s what you do so well!

Pelosi presumably can’t get such a law past the GOP Senate—and the funds have already been approved.

But I wouldn’t put them past trying to take a bad argument to a partisan Dem judge, just to see if they can hold it up. Of course, Trump at least putatively has the USSC on his side at this point.

Hope he understands his voters can deal with a bad quarter of GDP and a bear market in stocks if it gets us a lasting impact on immigration. Beyond just the wall, ending chain migration and some immigrant welfare reform are huge to solving the immigration problem.
