President Trump —or staff— if you are reading this thread, NO DACA DEAL! Definitely not for a mere $2.5 billion. Maybe they give you $25 billion and no strings attached. But DACA should be for the remainder of 670K kids that are not already in jail or pending prosecution. Not for parents and others! Get e-Verify while you are at it.

ASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. House of Representatives adjourned just before 7 p.m. on Friday night (0000 GMT on Saturday), leaving the Capitol before approving government funding and thereby ensuring a government shutdown.
The House is set to return from recess at noon on Saturday.
I thought the House had sent a CR with 5 Billion for a Wall to the Senate, and the Senate was unlikely to get 60 votes on the floor to send it to PDJT.
I never heard of anyone mentioning the “Vest pocket veto” possibility.
Anything for the DACA must not permit a path to citizenship. No cutting in line.

If the CR submitted does NOT have the full 5 Billion Wall funding, I believe PDJT will veto in the most offensive way to Rats Pelosi and Schumer.

I agree. If it were possible, I’d say 100% deport of all illegal aliens. Period. No exceptions. But I suspect Ivanka has Trump’s ear and she’s already made tearful claim that this is unfair to people already here. So we are left with a deal—lots on the table good/bad.
The President has ten days to sign or veto a bill. If he does not not veto a bill within the ten days, it becomes law, unless Congress adjourns for the session within that ten days. Congress must adjourn before the new Congress takes office on 3 January, 2019. So, in Congress doesn’t present President Trump with a bill on or before 23 December 2018, then he doesn’t have to veto it for it to fail to become law.
That means a partial government shutdown tonight.
