Diversity means differences, separation, pigeon-holing, but never unity of purpose, ideas, or values. Why in Heaven’s name would the vague bromide of “Diversity” be anything other than an excuse not to honor differences, but to exploit them? That is what the Democrats and the cultural left means by “Diversity”, not what the Pope is intending to say.
What he is trying to promote is “Ecumenism” or the unity, tolerance, and cooperation of all Christians, and all people. That is not what the Democrats and leftists mean by “Diversity”. Divide, Coerce, and Conquer is their real agenda.
