Logistics. Any wall slows them down long enough for you to respond with fewer resources.

Yup. And why do banks keep their money locked up? Any lock can be broken. Why do people (including liberals) keep their gates, houses, cars, valuables, etc, locked up?

Because they value their possessions.

Liberals see no value in American sovereignty, security or in freedom or even in life itself (other than their own).

The best way to assure the wall stays effective after Trump gets it built is to never elect another Dem or RINO to the presidency.

Well, we might as well give up, right NBC?

Make the slats out of titanium.

Well, it’s there to keep the honest people honest...

I know someone can kick in my front door, but I still lock at night when I go to bed anyway.

The fact that the door is there and locked is for the burglar/thief’s protection anyway, heaven forbid someone kick in my door in the middle of the night — *SURPRISE*!!!!

No matter what I do to prevent it, if someone really wants my car, they’ll find a way to steal it. I’m still not leaving my keys in the car when I park it on the street.

Trump’s a builder - he’ll know what takes longest to compromise and what will be cheapest and BEST in the long run. No one’s gonna play President Trump for a fool on this one...

Given the right tools, an M1 tank is vulnerable to penetration.

Just like a locked door in your house, a wall is not a 100% guarantee that someone won’t break in. It just makes it a lot more difficult, giving you time to take defensive action.

Thank you for referencing that article SeekAndFind. As usual, please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

”… the report included photos of all eight prototype breached by Marines with ordinary household tools [??? emphasis added]— including the “steel slats” fence."

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Regarding picture in OP, in my non expert opinion it took a powered “ordinary household tool” to cut the steel. And if powered tool is needed then undocumented Democrats simply plug their electric saws into convenience outlet in wall, right?

Ok, I’ve had my sarcastic fun. But is NBC spinning problems with steel walls?

This is nothing but an irrelevant distraction. Of course any of the wall prototypes can be breached by some method, but any of them as a part of sensible border security would still be 90%+ effective.

And that’s what these leftist media outlets don’t want.

The front door to our houses could be kicked in, but we still lock the door.

“Libs on what we want: It isn’t perfect, we shouldn’t do it.

Libs on what they want: Just because it doesn’t work is no reason to stop”

They always insist that anything the Republicans do must be 100% while for Democrats good intentions are enough even when the actual result is complete failure.

Their core practices are all about hypocrisy and double standards.

Even the Berlin Wall came down. The point is that a wall has to be patrolled, protected, and maintained, but the sturdier it is, the less we spend in the long run on patrolling and maintenance. Given the evil of the globalist Left, we need a Wall that will still help even once America’s enemies retake power. That means big, strong, and difficult to take down even with complicit socialists helping the invaders.

Someone said that if we build a wall, the people will carry ladder with them...I’m not sure about you, but I wouldn’t carry a ladder 10 feet, let alone 4,000 miles...
