The oceans are warming faster than previously estimated, setting a new temperature record in 2018 in a trend that is damaging marine life, scientists said on Thursday...."Global warming is here, and has major consequences already. There is no doubt, none!" the authors wrote in a statement.

I wonder if they are using temperature corrections on old data like the atmospheric leftists do. I think they have been so they can make the measured (corrected) data match the computer models.

This scientific data is so obviously true that I bet they didn’t even bother to do any actual measurements.

faster than expected?
According to Red Ted Danson in the 1980s, our oceans were going to be dead in the first decade of the 21st century.

Some “life”, marine, avian or terrestrial, is always “damaged” at some point while other life thrives. It’s called evolution.

Now that’s funny right there. A scientific observation that is without doubt (uncertainty) is not a scientific observation at all. It is merely the opinion of an egotist.

From the linked artice:
“Almost 200 nations plan to phase out fossil fuels this century under the 2015 Paris climate agreement to limit warming. U.S. President Donald Trump, who wants to promote U.S. fossil fuels, plans to pull out of the pact in 2020.”
But, come to find out, there are only ~194 countries...”Most of the current experts and international authorities agree on 194 countries in existence”

“New measurements, aided by an international network of 3,900 floats deployed in the oceans since 2000, showed more warming since 1971”
So, how do floats deployed in 2000 prove that the oceans have warmed since 1971?
To: zeestephen
If there is no doubt, there is no science.

Overall, temperatures in the ocean down to 2,000 meters rose about 0.1 degree Celsius (0.18F) from 1971-2010, he said.

2/10ths of a degree in 40 years. Yup, no critters can survive that.
