No doubt the pubs will push back. All of Congress will push back and probably impeach him no matter what he does.

Trump should declare a national emergency first before outlining how the wall will be built. The emergency either exists now or it doesn’t ... irregardless of what Congress does or does not do.

If Congress doesn’t deliver (they won’t) then use the military to build the wall. That way it is clear that he is not declaring a national emergency just because Congress won’t do what he wants.

Why on earth do you insist on putting a mic in a persons face who constantly lies. Graham says declare the emergency.

She just might be right. I just hope those feckless GOPers think long and hard before they give the Dems any wiggle room.

As long as the President stays the course they all face not being able to expect the coattail effect to work for them in 2020.

This could very well be the Rubicon for the GOP.

My sense is that everyone, with no meaningful exception, in DC wants to get back to business as usual. I don’t believe the Senate is as far from turning on Trump “for the good of the country” as many FReepers think...

Very true, Paul Ryan was in charge. But she also said that the Congress wouldn’t give 5 Billion for funding, but they did.
