Last Tuesday a 25-year-old woman in Chicago was waiting at the bus stop in the early morning when she was approached by a 19-year-old man with a gun. The Chicago Tribune describes what happened next:
Video from across the street apparently captured the incident so police know exactly what happened. The intended victim had a concealed carry permit for her gun so she is not in any trouble with authorities. This is a clear case of self-defense.

We’re pretty much thrilled when anyone does, but it’s good to see a gun used for the right purposes in Chicago for a change.
We have to look at it from his point of view. That could’ve been him if he was short of cash and needing to score some smack. He doesn’t like the thought of being shot and killed by a “helpless” victim. Apparently he didn’t get the memo that if someone brandishes a gun and points it at you, the assumption is they’re threatening your life. It doesn’t matter if he didn’t mean to REALLY shoot you, because the potential victim can’t know that. At that point the potential victim has every right to eliminate the threat by every means possible.
The only reason that young lady was able to use her pistol to defend herself is because the thug didn’t know she was armed. If the thug had of known she was armed, he would have simply shot her in the back and taken her pistol along with any other valuables she may have had.
If all law abiding Americans were to arm themselves, and criminals knew we were all armed, criminals would simply revert back to “Bush Whacking” like they did in the old West.
Removing criminals from among us can’t be accomplished by only arming our law abiding citizens. Removing criminals from our streets requires more police, larger prisons, and more death sentences.
You can get a FOID without a ccw.

Which means Leftists are thrilled a Chicago woman was raped by a man with a gun.
And in case your not familiar with what a CCW is, CCW = Carry Concealed Weapon (License.)
And Leftists wanted her disarmed, and are very dismayed.

I like this woman, and the party that supported her being able to defend herself.
