Big pharma is more concerned with profit than helping people.

That’s a lick on her for not maintaining an emergency fund to cover 3-6 months living expenses.

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Geez Democrat Govt employees bitching about missing ONE paycheck. Govt employees are paid TOO much money, yet they are crying about missing ONE paycheck, makes ya wonder what they are wasting their money on instead of saving some for a rainy day

The has 3 grown kids. Send them out to get a job.

Maybe they can work at McDonalds and help deliver food to the White House?

Seriously, I know a bunch of kids that had to drop out of college, get a job to support their parents when Obama fouled up the oil industry.

Oh, please. A federal employee for nearly 40 years and she can’t buy a spare vial of insulin (AND still has a mortgage)? How does she manage to tie her shoes? The media will keep unearthing these idiots daily as long as the shutdown goes on.

what utter BS!
if she hasn’t seen fit to save up $3 for her insulin shot, and its medically necessary, the local health department or any hospital will provide it for free

and the federal workers have a very good Credit Union that is providing easy signature cash loans

The “poor sucker from South Succotash” routine ain’t gonna play this time. People loathe and detest government bureaucrats. And they know there is a pot o’ retirement gold waiting at the end of their rainbow. No sympathy here.

Get a second job and ask your children for help. This is such BS. Further more, I bet she can contact the mortgage holder to make arrangements for payment when her backpay is received.

Also why don’t these highly educated, well paid managerial bureaucrats have emergency savings? Her crisis is not my crises because she is in a demographic and payscale that is supposed to know better and has the means to do better.

Tired of the ridiculous sob stories.

hey forgot to include that they can't feed the cat because they are eating the cat food.

Cat food? The cat IS food.

Change her diet and she could cut out insulin. No carbs and sugar and she could drastically reduce her insulin intake. Still after 38 years as a Fed you would figure she wouldn’t be living paycheck to paycheck. Something is fishy here.

Total distortion of the real facts to drive the presses anti trump narrative.

I know for a fact that the major Mortgage co’s are offering deferments of payments or lower payments to those affected.

Maybe she should have not spent every dime of all her paychecks for the last 38 years so that when the next shutdown came, she could weather the storm.

Oh, BULLSHIT.

Drudge had some nonsense sob story up this morning about (sniff) poor federal employees having to pawn everything they owned just to provide food for their starving children.

I am SO SICK of being lied to by these bastards. As if NO Federal Employees have savings, bank accounts or credit cards!

Or she could actually go out and get another job like people who worked at jobs made uncompetitive on the world market by government regulations have to do.

I get free insulin samples, that are the same size as what I buy, every time I see my doctor. I’m sure all she has to do is ask, instead of whining.

38 years as a fed employee?
she is making 60k+ The average salary is 69K
This is pure BS
IF she really is having to choose it is her fault for poor choices the last 35 years
