Buzzfeed’s article was a variation of; “When Hearst Artist Frederic Remington, cabled from Cuba in 1897 that “there will be no war,” William Randolph Hearst cabled back: “You furnish the pictures and I’ll furnish the war.”” BuzzFeed tried to furnish the impeachment, but time has moved on and the public is less excitable. Other news agencies are very excitable and eager to pile on to furnish the impeachment. Furnishing the impeachment, that’s where the bragging rights come in.
Chuck Todd was still on the air this AM, though more even-handed than his outrageous display yesterday. He was absolutely gleeful about the prospect of impeaching President Trump “if it’s true”.
One of my favorite stories involves the editor of the now-defunct Herald-Tribune, who cabled a European correspondent, “Are there any news?”
The correspondent replied, “Not a new.”
Leftists lie, folks. Never believe them. They only begrudgingly tell the truth sometimes to make you think they will tell the truth all the time. They only tell you the truth to set you up to believe their next lie.
