I am obviously in the minority. I do not laud him as a great conservative. He did some good things, which were undone by his chosen UniParty veep and those that followed.

I am a native Californian. With dismay I watched him make the deal with the devil in 1986. I knew what would come of it.
I was right: California, his adopted state, over which he presided for two terms, is lost to us because he was so foolish as to trust Democrats - and he, a former Democrat, had no excuse.
Those here who despise Ann Coulter should recall what that vaunted conservative icon did to us and the country.
Those here who love to hate California as a leftist hellhole should acknowledge that Ronald Reagan made it happen.

Actually I agree with you. I think he was an above average President, but he is also the one that caved to both Tip and Kennedy, creating this mess we are in today. Plus he is the reason for the Bush’s accention into power and the formation of the deep state swamp. When all is said and done, Trump will overshadow him by leaps and bounds.
