Sorry. But you really should think carefully about the nature of women who publicly admit to killing their own pre born life. Try to imagine for instance the thoughts of any surviving siblings. Would you really trust this woman to act in an ethical manner in any matter of importance especially if she did not get virtually everything she wanted? Bottom line she is a killer and is quite capable of anything. Once you kill or acquiesce to killing, you are capable of anything.
Once you kill or acquiesce to killing, you are capable of anything.
This includes the fathers involved
Okay, Jennifer Gorman, you put a name and face to late-term abortion. So what? The bottom line is that you killed your baby. No amount of rationalization changes that fact.
I support abortion in certain instances. This woman’s case was not the norm. This didn’t sounds like someone using abortion as birth control or killing a baby late term or after it was born. If i we’re to judge everyone evil, then I’d be a rat and I’m not.
I have a good friend whose daughter was born with a terrible disease/condition - I do not know the name of it. But she was a quadraplegic. The doctors told her the baby would not live long. She lived until she was 26 years old, sadly dying of an infection that went into pneumonia and couldn’t be cured.
My friend ended up being a single mom because the dad couldn’t deal with the illness.
She raised this daughter and another child all by herself providing the round the clock care with the help of visiting nurses.
Her paralyzed daughter became a vibrant, loving Christian young person and is in heaven today.
This child would have been a candidate for post-birth abortion (being aborted at the moment of birth).
My friend of course is strongly pro-life no matter the condition of the living child....
Also, I have read that spina bifida can be surgically repaired in the womb.
This woman in this article had a difficult situation, but she and her husband could have taken care of that child and, perhaps, surgery could be done for the child.
So very very tragic.
Then doctors make errors too. Look at Tim Tebow. I love Tebow and thank God for his mother.
“There are adults who do abort because the baby they have created isnt the sex they wanted.”
This is an area that the US will have to address; India and Red China have already been forced to do so. India simply outlawed sex-selective abortion, so people just skirt the law with bribes and kill the females in the womb - or if they are poor, they give birth to and abandon females babies to die. Red China tried to stop the killing of female babies by offering a second chance (under the “one child policy”) to parents of female babies; that didn’t really work because prospective parents then just saw two mouths to feed instead of one.
When it becomes clear which gender selfish American parents will choose, American women will realize they came out the losers in this - and our country will simply import foreign women to supplant them in maternity wards here (we already do, really). Now they have to amend their mantra, “it is a woman’s right to do as she pleases with her body” - because they’ll be slaughtering “baby women”...
Hank Williams, sr. had spina bifida. Lived a full life and then some. Plus as others have mentioned there are corrective surgeries available, including some in vitro.
CC
True. D and C is not what they do at 20 weeks. It would be at least a D and E, so she is not being honest.
My son was breech, cord wrapped twice, six weeks early. Only 3 lbs, 15 oz...the size of a doll.
First words the doc said to me were: “Mrs. XXX, I have no guarantees. I can’t promise he will make it.”
My son is 33 yrs old. Owns his own business, and has a 2nd job on the side managing a pizza restaurant (cuz he loves it). He plays the drums and saxaphone and is a pilot. And he calls his mom every single day without fail. Oh, and he’s a Trumpster.
Life is good :)
A woman who survived abortion....she was targeted for destruction by an abortionist, she lives today.
Publish her story, Huff.
Her story is the basis for the film “October Baby”.
ALL democratic countries allow late term abortion under compelling conditions. This story is an attempt to legalize abortion for any reason up to the point of delivery or soon thereafter by implying that any restriction on abortion is akin to completely outlawing abortion. The story is fake like so much of what passes for liberalism nowadays.
There are new procedures, that might not have been available in 2015? Would that include, am wondering- the ability to close up the exposed spinal column working “in utero” ?
Wondering. Assuming the exposure was severe (several vertebrae below the skull— wonder if this would have been possible.
This woman’s “writer” is incorrect. 21 weeks is the 2nd trimester. Point is brought out that there are physicians who advocate for termination, because “they could try again”- their “advocacy” for the “selection” of abortion. This may be as much political for these physicians as rationalization for “a better outcome for the patient’(s) lives. If there were surgical alternatives for carrying this baby to term-— they should have been told that— there is a clear “rewrite” of this woman’s memory, heightened by her emotional sadness of the decision. A “rewrite” that is blatantly political, and thus, subject to a test for honesty.
Came to mind this is sort of like the political forced decision to be used... made by other parents— Like Mary Jo Kopechne’s silenced parents, and incredibly so for Seth Rich’s curiously unchallenging parents (out of fear?).
All of this— including the propaganda piece here in HuffPo... is sickening- the lengths the Left will go.
Of course.
Now she’s “pro-no-choice”, in a new twist of doublethink.
Griend in Minnesota was a young married aytormey. Got pregnant. Was told baby had no brain. She carried him full term. Delivered him. She and her husband were able to cradle him for a while til he died in their arms. I have so much respect for her.
First degree murder, clear and simple: Means, Method, and Opportunity. She killed her baby.
Agreed.
