I spent a lot of time in Baltimore in the mid 80’s, it seemed like the city was trying to re- vitalize into a place where people wanted to live and work. I’m guessing that all changed.

The runner talked about going through neighborhoods unserved by good government, with alleys littered with trash and old appliances. It’s as if his point is the government goes into homes and randomly throws objects out into piles in alleys. Yet if he goes 3 miles north into the suburbs, their government doesn’t empty home possessions onto sidewalks - government there is good and helpful.

He wants his community to be integrated, but the photos of his running group shows nothing but black members.
