Former RNC Chairman Michael Steele claimed Friday on MSNBC that President Donald Trump was probably upset that law enforcement prevented a terror attack against prominent Democrats.
A U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant was arrested earlier this week for allegedly stockpiling guns and ammunition with the alleged intention of carrying out a large-scale terror attack to establish a white homeland.

Reposting after I decided to proofread my original comment: LOL
I cant believe this is the same guy I engaged in a 20 minute conversation with at CPAC years ago.
He didnt appear to have signs of Dementia at the time.
Besides, why would POTUS Trump want some prominent Rats to become Martyrs to the cause?
Since Steele s projecting, I assume he was giddy when Steve Scalise was shot.
Rather, does it prove the Washington GROPElites ALWAYS opposed us, their voters? This was the head of the party!
at least Steele is now on the books
as another Deepstate loser/rino/anti-Christian/ etc. etc.

Demonrats and republic rats— the deep state is large
Waddaya expect?
After all, he’s a member of the Republican Party.
You can call them GOPe or RINOs or whatever, but they are ALL members of the elephant club.
He’s what a lot of republicans are. Since he is no longer associated with them he is free to speak what he really thinks. POS lying bastard is what he is!!!
A baseball bat.
Michael Steele is probably upset the Epstein’s pedophile island trips got shut down.
Steele can’t help it. He was born on a military base and is a lifelong mind-control slave. He MUST do what his masters command him. Time to end the slave system.
You mean like the other conservative hating representatives at the softball game?

Can you say token?
What a nutcase statement.
guess he was just a token...
Most MSNBC shows are little more than a bunch of nutcases sitting around gazing into a crystal ball... scrying away...
He always was a token...
I agree and I swear I did not see your post before posting mine...just read the head line and the first few comments and it too was the first thing that came to my mind!
Never. Gonna. Happen. (as much as I too wish it would!)
Would someone please point out to these pro-socialist idiots who call Trump and his supporters “white nationalists” that the term NAZI is short for the National SOCIALIST party!!
This is a bogus charge against this guy until proven otherwise.
It smells really bad and doesn’t add up.
Steele lost his bid for the RNC chairmanship in 2011 after serving for 2 years. Immediately following his loss in the chairmanship election, and during the Obama years, Steele was hired by MSNBC to be a regular political analyst as of May 2011.
He is a staunch supporter of pro-choice and threatened a need for violence when questioned about this from Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council in 2009.
In 2008, Steele said that he personally opposes a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage, saying that he believes states should decide the issue for themselves. Head in the sand as in 2012, Steele said that LGBT couples deserve full privileges and benefits under the law.
In 2009, speaking on illegal immigration, Steel called for the U.S. to “secure our borders first,” saying “You cannot begin to address the concerns of the people who are already here unless and until you have made certain that no more are coming in behind them.” Carl Rove called this boneheaded as those already here are supporting the new trespassers and they are causing crime, harming people, and costing the taxpayers millions of dollars. I have to agree with Carl Rove on that one.
In 2010, he said the war in Afghanistan was “not something the United States had actively prosecuted or wanted to engage in.”In fact, War in Afghanistan was initiated by George W. Bush in October 2001 in retaliation for the September 11 attacks on New York City and Washington D.C. He obviously has no conception of how a war is fought as he was a supporter of Bush’s invasion of Iraq when a lot of the Taliban and Al Qaeda forces were operating from Afghanistan.
I can’t call him a conservative as he has never supported most of the people or ideologies of the party. So my question is, how did he get the chairmanship of the RNC in 2009 when he hasn’t, and doesn’t currently, represent the party? He’s just a member of the herd when it comes to Rinos.
