“will not hold up in the Ninth Circus,”

I’ve wondered what would happen if PDJT just ignored the Ninth Circuit’s stupid rulings. Really... what would happen? Would someone come to arrest him?

We need that old communist b.tch to die from cancer already.

I won’t be sad.

I won’t say prayers even though she’s one of God’s children.

I won’t respect the dead like some here want.

I will be Freaking Glad she’s dead and I won’t fake any crap to be “better” than them.

I’ll drink a bottle of JD and celebrate all night.

BTW, when I called the bush father what he was, a new world order POS, when he died, I got those comments.

“show some respect for the dead!”

“Take your hate to another thread!”

I didn’t then.

And I won’t when she dies.

Re: In January 1984, more Democrats voted for Edward Meese as AG than voted for William Barr in December of 2018.

We both got Meese’s confirmation date wrong - it was February 1985.

In any event, the Democrats delayed Meese’s vote for 13 months.

And, 12 of the Democrats who voted for Meese were from southern states that voted overwhelmingly for Reagan in the 1984 election.

Bottom Line - the Democrats are going to play scorched earth against any Trump nominee who has not sworn his loyalty to the Progressive agenda.

Re: Your glass is always half empty, isn’t it?

No.

Trump is a life long center-right Democrat who ran for President as a Republican.

If Conservatives don't hold Trump's feet to the political fire, who will?

We would not have to worry about RBG if Roberts would do the right thing. McConnell has already all but promised not to confirm a new justice in 2020.

Re: Edwin Meese (super hard ass) 69-31 seriously, you’re trying to make your point with that?

Yes.

Meese got 12 Democrat votes from Southern states that Reagan won decisively in 1984.

#2, If the government defends the veto they would do it in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals and if they lost, in the liberal 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.

However, if they win in DCCA and lose elsewhere, it should normally become a consolidated “appeals” case to the Supreme Court who can schedule anyway they like as long as they are in session.

Excellent point. I’ve wondered that myself. These nationwide injunctions by a single federal judge are absurd. Hamilton and Madison never conceived of such a thing.

Regardless, Meese received far more Democrat votes than Barr. The problem with your original examples is it’s making the false comparison of then with now. Truly apples and oranges.

Just so I understand....

You are claiming that William Barr is not a Deep State RINO.

Is that correct?

While you're at it, can you name one consequential Conservative - besides Sarah Huckabee Sanders - who works in the White House or the Cabinet?

Thanks.

!) His pending confirmation inspired RosenWeasel to retire. Maybe he wasn't looking forward to the shade? Who knows.

2) Wiessmann decided it was time to go, rumored to have been inspired by the actions of Bob Barr.

3) Publicly defended the legal basis for PDJT's emergency declaration.

He's done more for our president than Sessions ever did or wanted to do.

Don’t think the courts get to weigh in..Congress failed and that should be it.
Doesn’t mean they won’t file 100 lawsuits hoping for a panties-stick-to-the ceiling outcome...

“...if Roberts screws us...”

Roberts makes me nervous - wasn’t he in charge of the FISA courts that approved the corrupt applications? I would be very surprised if the FISA court judges were not in on the corrupt methods used to spy on then candidate Trump.

How could they (FISA judges) not have even asked about the dossier and its sources?

If yes, then Roberts is not to be trusted as the ‘rats have leverage to pressure him to vote against the President.

How much better the country would be if that POS simply failed to come out of his shell one morning.

If Roberts has decided to be a traitor we have a big problem, and in that case he probably has the FISA judges on his team. If RBG goes away, Trump reelected, and the GOP wing of the Senate is not already destroyed, we have a chance to fix SCOTUS, but as long as Roberts is chief justice we may have continuing FISA problems.
