It was an attempt to influence the will of the voters...

Absolutely and between that and pure unadulterated voter fraud, they managed to win the midterms. If Mueller of come out with his report earlier, there is no way the midterms would have ended up the way the did.

IF the GOP campaigns correctly, they can get many of the seats back.

Trumps SOTU speech was brilliant. The media are hypocrites. Trump triangulated better than Clinton in that speech and if the GOP would only follow his lead they can win big.

The trick is to pick off the big issues from the left. Prison and sentencing reform, for example. Now that we can see clearly the injustice in the justice system and the abusive nature of Democrats in charge, they can successfully argue their sincerity in reform. The left wants guaranteed income, the GOP can argue for more money for people who work by taxing them a lot less. Let’s not argue with them that their is unfairness in the system, let’s just argue that the way to prosperity is through economic liberation.

He could also steal some thunder from those calling for the breakup of facebook, google etc. Trump opposed the ATT Time Warner merger. I agree with him for many reasons, but they left framed it only as a grudge against CNN. But ATT now has a near monopoly on cable and cable internet, plus they distribute their own content. This is anti-competitive and we broke up ATT for the same reason; and we forced the movie studios to divest their theater chains for the same reason - you can’t own the content and the distribution. The precedent already exists. So push for the breakup of ATT on the basis of anti-competitive, lowering cost of internet. And I am sympathetic to breakup of Amazon, Facebook and Google in particular.

Medicare for all basically means all doctors will become employees of the federal government. That should scare everyone. We can lower the cost of healthcare by making it more competitive. He can use the university scandals to campaign on shifting money we give to academic research and allocate it towards financing more diagnostic equipment - more access to preventive care.

The other side of prosperity is peace. And on that front I think Trump will make a good case as he will be deep in progress with North Korea, and probably will unveil his middle east peace negotiations too. He may even now be able to negotiate with Russia on intermediate missile treaty. He called for the troop removal from Syria, and campaigned that the Iraq invasion was a mistake. Press all that and argue, like Reagan in 84, you don’t want to trade horses mid stream.

GOP can win, but they have to take the same ‘activist’ approach the left takes. We have to educate the voters on the perils of socialism and big government. We have spend 2 years ducking all these shots from the left. Now it is time to shoot back.

I think Brennan is the real culprit.

“What law(s) did he violate?”

Perhaps sedition?

“Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech and organization, that tends toward insurrection against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent towards, or resistance against established authority.”

I’ve always maintained that Trump hesitated in releasing all relevant documents that DOJ had stonewalled as insurance against his family being indicted. Since that is no longer a valid possibility he should release everything in its unredacted form. This document dump of incriminating evidence would surely force the hand of Barr to name special counsel.

We know a lot about the report. Why do you think the ‘rats were putting the lid on the impeachment talk the last couple of weeks? You don’t think the Trump-haters on Muellers staff hadn’t leaked to report to them already?

This is political kabuki at its finest.

“Perhaps sedition?”

Certainly guilty of sedition, but I’m not sure that’s a crime.

Maybe you’re right. I found this. Can’t believe it’s not an actual crime.

“Sedition, crime against the state. Though sedition may have the same ultimate effect as treason, it is generally limited to the offense of organizing or encouraging opposition to government in a manner (such as in speech or writing) that falls short of the more dangerous offenses constituting treason.”

Comey lied to Congress and the FISA court. He leaked classified documents to his lawyer friend as a way to get them to the MSM. Those are just a few examples of his lawbreaking.

How do you redact something that is not in the report?

It really doesn’t matter what is in Mueller’s report. We need to know how this coup attempt began and who was involved.

I don’t doubt that. Who else do you know of who has been prosecuted for lying to Congress are leaking to the media?

Roger Stone lied to Congress and is being indicted. So did Cohen and he is serving jail time. McCabe is under criminal investigation for leaking to the media and lying about it.

Using the power and prestige of official office to manufacture lies and distortion for the sole purpose of overthrowing a sitting duly elected president of the United states.

Sedition.

Capitol offense,

Up next the wall.

Stone has been indicted, but not yet prosecuted.

Cohen wasn’t prosecuted, he plea bargained.

We’ll see what happens with McCabe.

Cohen was sentenced to jail for lying to Congress. He pleaded guilty and received a more lenient sentence because he cooperated with the DOJ.

There are other criminal referrals that have sent to a DOJ for lying to Congress. They include Simpson, Steele, and Strzok. Many others are being assembled by Jordan and Meadows. And don.t forget those sent to DOJ by Grassley having to do with the Kavanaugh confirmation.

My point is none of them has been prosecuted. Pleading guilty is not the same thing.

Of course they were prosecuted. You don’t get indicted and sentenced to jail without being prosecuted.
