Why didn’t the state ask for Trump’s taxes prior to 2016?
I think Trump should release portions of his tax returns. The portion that shows how much Chuckie Schumer, Kirsten Gillebrand, Cuomo, and other liberals have taken in donations from Trump over the years. Let them explain to their hard-core constituents why they were so eager to take Trump’s money then.

A shine? That’s nothing. The 16th, and specifically the enforcement arm/mechanisms (violations of 4th/5th, guilty until proven innocent, asset forfeiture, etc.), have really given the Constitution\Liberty a beat-down.
The Trump empire should vacate New Yawk state asap, and take all their business elsewhere, thus removing millions in tax revenue. That state and leftafornia are anti-American fens.

Assume it is signed into law. Restrictions on ex-post facto would prevent prior tax returns. This would only apply to future returns.
I can almost picture the legal contortions they’ll make to get around that little detail. But since I don’t take opium, my imagination fails me.
Just one more reason to abolish the IRS and the income tax.
