The Dallas/ Fort Worth area is the fastest growing metropolitan area in the country, according to new estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau.
DFW added 131,767 residents from 2017 to 2018.
Phoenix was second with more than 96,000 new residents.
.....The census data showed the majority of the growth in the region is going to the suburbs.

While this is good for business and the economy I am afraid it is going to be at the expense of changing the voting demographics for the worse.

if you live here I hope you will get involved.
The Republican party in each city and working hard to keep and engage voters.

Back President Trump's effort to make certain the census form contains the citizenship question in it and no reference to race. But to the country of where the respondent is a citizen of if not an American citizen. TIME TO END HYPHENATING AMERICANS One thing the Mexican Constitution has that we should consider doing.Mexico has no hyphenated Mexicans. They prohibit any reference to race when they conduct a census or issue any means of identification, Where a photo id is not available physical description is needed skin color yes but not by race but by nationality.. By doing this Mexico has avoided balkanizing, creating fractional disputes in areas where a given group in one of its states is a majority or a minority. Plus it could play a significant part in shutting down the political playing off racial divisions between Americans by the Democrats. Yep!! I've been predicting for quite sometime Tx will turn deep blue!! Tooooo many outsiders invading our beautiful state!! Austin is a mini SF, Houston- LA! Dallas-California, SA-Mexico and so on!! If Trump wins Texas again it'll be a miracle!! Texas is being swamped from every blue state and the illegal invaders!! They unfortunately bring their socialist left wing voting habits to our state😢😢😞😥

It’s a great place to live, if you don’t mind the absence of mountains and beaches.

Horrific news. Perry well and truly screwed Texas. Abbot has continued his insane recruiting of Californians. The GOPe and dems fully intend to destroy Texas.

The growing number of legal and illegal immigrants will change the voting demographics.

Given that so many of the new immigrants are from California, Im a bit surprised that Austin isnt outpacing DFW.

Dallas is already deep blue.
Their county prosecutor just made it legal to steal up to $750 worth of merchandise for "personal needs".
To: Envisioning
Texas and Arizona are blue and don’t know it yet.

All liberals from the West coast, the northern Midwest and the Northeast. Texas will be gone, if not by next election, the one after that. Nothing stopping it. Blame Perry for all of that.

That data indicates people with decent jobs are moving in, not migrants and low-skilled workers.

Same is true for Arizona.
I am unable to access the article but word is that under Kelli Ward (GOP Chairwoman), donations have plummeted.
Maybe someone can enlighten me (us).
