Nazi UBoaters and Japanese Army had a thing about if you kill prisoners you don’t have to feed and house them and if you just leave them they will likely be back to fight you tomorrow.

That's what they said about the Jews at the Wannsee Conference.

“The entire chain of command in this on one should be escorted to Leavenworth!”

If justice is served you are correct. Unfortunately, it will not happen. Sad.

Lots of room for doubt here. Why so long in coming forward? Assuming no autopsy was performed, there is no way to prove exactly what was the cause of death. Conflicting stories of witnesses cast further doubt. All of these details add up to one sure thing. That sure thing is that when we send our finest young people to deal with war, something we cannot do ourselves nor want to do, we have washed our hands of knowing the HOW they did it. That’s right. War is hell and those not present forfeit the privilege of asking how victory is accomplished.

By "ISIS fighter", TERRORIST is meant.
Two full pardons are in order.

Was the “fighter” still struggling, perhaps?

end ALL wars if the ‘so called leaders’ who willingly dispatched OTHERS to do their fight for them

Historically, even up to the 1200s many leaders did in fact lead their troops and sometimes died with them. Wars were even bloodier as a percentage of combatants then.

Yeah, seals and medics in particular should be allowed to murder their prisoners regardless of what the Law of War says and to hell with all your training on how to treat prisoners. As for CorpsMAN Mengele, he can kiss off a career in medicine. He will be lucky if he isn’t in prison for life.

The whole thing is a scam to get this guy off. We are supposed to believe after years and years in the system just now in the trial someone else did it? I dont think so. Both killers deserve life.

The Navy and the Army are both very guilty of persecuting their own warriors rather than the enemy. Where are those pardons Mr President?????????

The Navy ought to fire every person involved with this prosecution and right up the line in this case.

For a former JAG you seem to forget about the “beyond a reasonable doubt” part of our justice system.

This testimony along with the supposed “looking for leaks” email surveillance illegally done by the prosecution in my view shows reasonable doubt unless this witness can be proved a liar.

Except the Jews were not enemy combatants, but citizens and residents of Germany, including women, children and elderly. There is no moral equivalency here. That’s the game the left plays, like you can’t be pro-life and pro-death penalty.

Japanese, and to a lesser degree German war crimes against uniformed servicemen, as bad as they were, cannot be equated to the holocaust.

*** Nazi UBoaters and Japanese Army had a thing about if you kill prisoners you don’t have to feed and house them and if you just leave them they will likely be back to fight you tomorrow. ***

My Uncle was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He later fought in the Philippines. He said the same thing, but with a lot more colorful use of words about those who wished to become POW’s. One phrase that stuck with me, “We mowed the Bastards down.”

Time will tell what a jury will do. But i can safely predict this medic is done. Either he murdered his patient or he perjured himself to save a guilty dirtbag.
