PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ten men were involved in the shoplifting incident at a Pleasant Prairie North Face on June 1, according to a criminal complaint.
Police say the men were in and out of the store within 30 seconds to a minute. They all entered at the same time, went into a corner of the store and grabbed several jackets off each rack before running out of the store.

I find it hard to sympathize with this event, only because they have invited this type of behavior in so many ways with their embrace of liberalism/leftist politics. The old you deserve what you embrace sentiment I guess.
350 per jacket
Alinsky would be proud
Cops do not assess value, besides it clearly states in the article: The store manager stated that about $33,723 worth of clothing was stolen.
‘3 jackets per thief times $100 per jacket = $30,000.’
an extra zero in there, I think...but I stink at math...
Will claim racism if clothing is chained up to racks.
Sumptin’ doesn’t add up. The article states that three men entered, grabbed several jackets (each, I assume) and ran out within 30 seconds and the manager values the loss at $33k?
C’mon, each jacket is worth $3,000? I call ‘bravo sierra’ on the property value. $10-11k? Maybe, but not $33k! I smell an insurance scam.
Like the Bible says”,As you sow, so shall you reap.” The Liberals and godless have been busily sowing for decades. Harvest time may be coming.
Oh yes, it was teens okay and they were just coming out of choir practice and were on their way home.
Reversing the hook on every other hanger doesn’t interfere with shopping, but makes it impossible to grab a bunch at one felled swoop.
Ten perps, 4 jackets each; if each jacket retails in the $750 range, that would come to about $30,000. (Plus sales tax - if the perps are caught, will the authorities add sales tax to the value the store manager provided?)
Of course, getting an exact value of $33,723 would require that some employee scanned each item as it left the building. Would store security software be that precise?
wrong body part—we do not want these genes passed on to another generation... ;-)
They canvassed the place first no doubt.....they generally do. Then go in for the hit. Had this happen with Ralph Lauren Coats that were to close to an entrance. Even though they were chained the people who do these thefts know what they are doing.
This is why that group still gets profiled.
Nothing has changed from over 50 years ago, in spite of black youth having much the same opportunities to earn a living as other races.
With some families, there is a perverse pride in stealing from well established businesses. As though they were ‘taking something back’ from the business, something that was never theirs to begin with. This covers all races in middle and lower economic classes.
An item with that high a value could well rate an RFID tag, it wouldn't require a person to scan it.
Unassimilated unproductive parasites...
(Plus sales tax - if the perps are caught, will the authorities add sales tax to the value the store manager provided?)
Because they needed the coats for the cold Wisconson winter, maybe a simple misdemeanor.
But failure to pay sales tax!!!
Big trouble.
Is that because the RFID tag would register somewhere as it left the building? That was the basis of my question about manager being able to identify an exact amount. I am not familiar with details of RFID technology.
One black guy said, (loaded with gang tattoos on his face and a prison record), nobody is going to hire me so F it.. I take what I can get.
