PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ten men were involved in the shoplifting incident at a Pleasant Prairie North Face on June 1, according to a criminal complaint.
Police say the men were in and out of the store within 30 seconds to a minute. They all entered at the same time, went into a corner of the store and grabbed several jackets off each rack before running out of the store.

If in fact, all items were tagged with RFID, they >>could<< have checkout scanners at the door. Those systems are coming and in fact, have already been deployed for years. It is not widespread yet.
But IF it is deployed here, then an accurate total could be easily obtained.
"Hey, man, I'm just getting me some reparations."
10 men * 5 Jackets each = 50 jackets
30,000/50 = $600/each.
Yeah, that seems unreasonable.
They are America’s “hot potato”; nobody wants to live near them, send their children to school with them, or have any daily interaction with them.
Seeing busing arise in the Dem candidate discussions is pathetic - as though the only way they can achieve is to have someone else’s “whiteness” rub off on them.
I believe so. Someone had mentioned working on this technology for self-scan kiosks.
If they plan on being able to scan the entire contents of a grocery cart as it rolls by in the near future, they surely have the ability to do it at the door with high value items now.
Given the direction we’re going, I keep thinking that when the muzzies finally take over, it’ll be an improvement.
Just how ridiculously overpriced were these clothing items that you could run out with $30,000 worth?
I bought a North Face jacket last winter and it cost around 300.00........these thieves had a plan....I’d like to plan their future......in prison!!
=$3,000.00
Liberals will be in for a surprise, thats for sure. On the flip side, conservative men might find that its not such a bad deal.
specially since the Sears underwear from the 70’s wore like iron...
It’s only going to get worse. Who knew “A Clockwork Orange” was prophetic?
“conservative men might find that its not such a bad deal.”
Sounds like you read “Submission” by Houellebecq.
Daily inventory minus missing items equals amount of loss, at retail price.
They are over the allowable “persons of color looting threshold” they may face harsh sentencing, A verbal reprimand followed by law enforcement apologies and a promise not to do it again
A self-fulfilling prophesy.
3 jackets per thief times...$30,000.
Each person had about 10 items so it could be in the neighborhood.
10 thieves * 3 jackets each * $100 = $3,000.00
You need to go to a Nordstom. Just a single pair of underwear will run in the $30 range.
In some Nordstrom’s that would be the cheap pair on sale.
Just how ridiculously overpriced were these clothing items that you could run out with $30,000 worth?
Not many if they were designer jackets!
I think the premium deal is a single pair of Versace Thongs for $50. It’s the type that would trigger women to chase you around living room.
