A lot of our statewide, voted on opinions were overturned by Liberal judges. This happened over and over until many felt there was no justice to be found in the state of California

Realignments can play out over decades. The southern socially conservative Democrats didn't become Republican overnight. Both Carter and Clinton did well in their native south before their actual performance showed them for what they were.

We are trading the suburban bimbos from hell for working class people who don't hold Ivy League/coastal social values. That includes all races. Already, significant numbers of Latino are willing to vote for Republicans because of these issues. Blacks aren't really thrilled with perverts, either. They won't be voting Republican in big numbers anytime soon, but they won't storm the polls for Pete Buttigieg, either. Trump has made it clear that he is president of everyone, and doesn't play the game the way the lefties play it. Disaffected working class folks who used to be FDR/JFK Democrats don't have a home in that party anymore. Run a simple litmus test, if ever visiting CA. Talk to the folks that live there, you will find most are not all that liberal at all, most are downright conservative. And they vote that way..... but as we saw in the midterms, republicans winning and then losing after a week or so?
