Well Dayton is a hub of drug gangs and trafficking. I would bet that is the basis.
I still say it's about fairness,when the chicoms have a 25% tariff against our cars and we have 2.5% its simply not fair,when they steal everything we come up with makes tons of drugs to sell here and do everything possible to bring us down the very least we can demand is fair trade.Its not an outrageous demand.

Navaro complimented Chrissy on his ability to track and measure retail prices. chrissy put a lot of effort into collecting those retail prices.

When China absorbs a 25% tariffs, other countries are now profitable making the same product, including USA.
Purchasing Managers will issue purchase orders to those who can deliver the same product at a better price.
Citizens, retailers, manufactures always look for the best value and make changes.
Love to see manufacturers move back to the USA, and bring with them any intellectual property developed in china!
I understand what you are saying, but she definitely has a problem with President Trumps style. She has had no problem being hard-hitting and rude to him in interviews. Except for Fox and Friends, Varney&Co and Charles.. I find FoxNews unwatchable during the day.

The Me-too movement and Harvey Weinstein make the Clintons less attractive to the Dem masses. Bill and Hillary will be trotted out at the 2020 Dem nomination convention for their last hurrahs.
However, I honestly do believe that the Obamas are under attack from elements within the left/democrat party.
I don't disagree. From a policy perspective, Obama did not do enough to move the ball down the field. And certainly Congress and Dem officeholders around the country were decimated under Obama. But the attacks are muted and temporary.
To say they orchestrated the attacks on themselves to get Joe Biden is not something I believe.
I never said they were. But the attacks are more against Biden than Obama who is not running for anything. Booker has already walked back his criticisms. At the next debate, I predict that all the candidates will sing the praises of Obama and make it clear they still think of him as a demigod. No harm, no foul.
The Dems have no clear front-runner including Biden. He has feet of clay. Bernie is an outlier who is not even a Democrat. He must be eliminated without alienating his slavish base who are the most enthusiastic Dem voters of all. The Dems need a minority on the ticket as either President or VP. Obama would prefer a minority at the top, but Warren may be the alternative at the top of the ticket. This leaves Harris, Booker, or Castro as the alternatives for VP. Mayor Pete has no support in the black community. No matter who is on the ticket, the race will be close due to the Dems demographic and electoral advantages.

Baltimore needs help—and fast.
Cummings has fought back against Trump’s statements, promising that he is fighting for the people of Baltimore. Frankly, I don’t see it. If he really does want to effect positive change in this once-lively and industrious city, he needs to try harder.
The left has taken the appalling truth of what Baltimore has become and turned it into a race issue to deflect criticism from the president. The tragedy is that in doing so, it misses an opportunity to help citizens who deserve better than what they’ve been given.

Though India cannot hope to match China’s ever-expanding military and economic clout, even as it remains opposed to “any militarization” of the so-called “Quad” with the US, Japan and Australia to not antagonize a prickly Beijing, New Delhi certainly needs to get its act together in the IOR. “India continues to suffer due to its tendency to over-promise and under-deliver to IOR countries,” said a senior official.
There is also great concern that India’s annual defence budget has not registered any concrete hike and just about catered for inflation over the last several years. India has indeed stitched up military logistics pacts to allow its warships access to US bases in Djibouti, Diego Garcia, Guam and Subic Bay as well as French ones in the Reunion Islands (near Madagascar) and Djibouti, but they are not fully operational as of now.
Moreover, the plan to set up concrete turnaround military facilities at places like Duqm (Oman), Changi (Singapore), Assumption Island (Seychelles) and Sabang (Indonesia) is still some distance away from being realized.
