UPDATE: School Backpedals After Teen Was Banned For Target Shooting With Mother

Ammoland Inc. Posted on September 3, 2019 by Ammoland Opinion

Colorado – -(AmmoLand.com)- Last week, we publicized the story of a 16 year old Loveland High student who was banned from school after posting a video on Snapchat of him shooting with his mom. The school banned him even after police investigated the “threat report” and instantly cleared him. After the story broke, community members, and even elected officials contacted school admin and district board members to express their disapproval of this blatant violation of the student’s civil liberties, as well as the complete disregard for parental rights. And it undoubtedly had an effect.

The threat assessment hearing took place and the student has been cleared to return to class.

The school officials came prepared with a packet of his homework, and stated they believed him to be a good kid and never thought he was making threats against the school. They acknowledged that his classmates may now react differently to him (I mean, he’s practically been accused of being the next school shooter, right?) and offered to make sure no one gave him trouble.

The SRO who was present agreed that the Safe 2 Tell system is sometimes used inappropriately by students wishing to anonymously seek revenge on another student. School officials also cautioned Nate to not post these types of activities on social media. The mother quickly reminded them that this is his First Amendment they’re talking about, and although she gets their point, that is a dangerous slope they’re heading down.

On January 1, 2020 Colorado’s “Red Flag” Emergency Risk Protection Orders ERPO law will go into effect. I’ve long said ERPO’s will be Safe2Tell for adults, and students have dubbed Safe 2 Tell as “Safe 2 Swat”, referencing the act of “swatting“, a criminal harassment tactic of deceiving an emergency service into sending a police and emergency service response team to another person’s address. Had this same scenario taken place while the ERPO law is in effect, the mother likely would have lost her firearms.

We need to continue to rally together as a community and push back at every turn. If you or your child ends up in a situation like Nate’s, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us here at Rally for our Rights.

About Rally for our Rights

That is the mentality of the people our governments have placed in authority over our children. They make “Chicken Little” look like a MMA champion and a mental genius.

“The SRO who was present agreed that the Safe 2 Tell system is sometimes used inappropriately by students wishing to anonymously seek revenge on another student.”

And so we see how Red Flag laws will be abused by everyone in society, beyond school, i.e., “seek revenge on another”. Shameful.

“Where does the kid go to get his reputation back?”

4 years of free college, paid for by the idiots that kicked him out.

“That is the mentality of the people our governments have placed in authority over our children.”

The people empowered to look after children live in their own little bubble world. They are the president, the courts, the police, everything in their little world. Power, which they have in abundance over their charges, is no fun unless you exercise it. Most of the time they exercise it with impunity. It’s only when there is pushback of a big nature that they suddenly see that their world is only a small part of a larger universe where they have little power and can be fired.

As an example, a friend’s high school child was viciously attacked in the middle of class change by three blacks. (The three refused to say why and the white kid said he knew
of them but had never talked to them. All of this was on video with zero provocation by the white kid.) The administration pulled the zero tolerance thing and were going to expel all of them. The white dad said he would go to social media and the local press if they did that. They backed off instantly and just expelled the blacks. Background: The three blacks had police records and many fights. The white kid had never even been disciplined before.

The point is, it took threats of publicity to get the administration to see reason.

The Thompson School District JROTC Air Rifle Marksmanship program was approved in the Summer of 2013. The Marksmanship program promotes teamwork, self confidence, concentration and basic marksmanship skills.

In other words, a daily Ruby Ridge scenario by authorities. Maybe not the shooting part, but the survelliance and tactical part.

"Had this same scenario taken place while the ERPO law is in effect, the mother likely would have lost her firearms life."

What? You don't trust trigger happy sociopathic black gloved thugs to refrain from getting their Gun off, at any opportunity, so "they can go home"?

Just because they couldn't be bothered to enlist, first, for 4 years, and get a little reality check, before they got to play Army with real guns and slaughter "civilians", who can't possibly understand the stresses they are under, with the blessing of some shyster who wants to be governor, someday?

Remember, cops are past masters at covering for bros, and turning a blind eye toward the various perks of the thin blue line, since they are immune to a little bribery, or low level felonies. Seems to be a little narrow minded.

And, a hardy F/U to the school officials.

School administration is made up of mediocre people who could not even cut the mustard as mediocre teachers. The union won’t let them fire anybody so the least competent get kicked upstairs.

Those who can, do.
Those who can't, teach.
Those who can't teach, become administrators.

THIS is a shining example of the insidious, treasonous influence of the poisonous public schools. Do yourselves a favor and GET YOUR KIDS OUT of them.

How DARE they tell us not to spread influence about our birthright, as if it is some bad habit? Our ancestors practiced marksmanship on Sunday afternoons, after church. How far this society has fallen!

This WILL come to blows, eventually. I just pray to God there are people willing to fight for freedom when it's time.

The people with the “It’s for the children” and “If it saves just one life” mindset will always have license in their minds to what ever necessary to achieve their goal. No matter whose rights they trample, or whose life they destroy. They are obsessed with their noble goal.

They are crazy.

I was Navy JROTC in high school. I was on the Drill Team, but we also had a Rifle Team, using .22 target rifles that were actually kept on the school property. Both teams went around competing against other schools’ JROTCs. And usually won.
