If somebody misspells my name on an order, my first instinct is to laugh or roll my eyes, and throw the wrapper/container away. Calling the media to report it would be the furthest thing on my mind. Who has time for that? But, then, we live in a self-absorbed, social media infested world where most people post every aspect of their lives for the world to see.
Every Muslim has some ISIS in them waiting to blow.
Wait. What the...was his name? Make up your mind!
Philly SB again huh? More tolerance training coming your way!
Close them down for more sensitivity training
1 sugar 1 squirt?
Stay out of Starbucks and stop giving them a name that sounds like ISIS and you won't have that problem.
And even if you do have that problem, nobody cares but you.
If more people would just mind their own beeswax and not be offended by everything they don't like, the world would be a better place.
I dont see a problem. ?
I’m sorry...but that’s just funny.
I actually know a chick named Isis. Coincidentally, she works in an airport. (No, she’s not a Muslim.)
She was a hottie.
And I think about him, now and then
Every time I try and every time I win
And if I ever have a son, I think I'm gonna name him
Bill, or George, anything but AZU!!!
Speaking as the mother of a Starbucks employee, I find it much more believable that a barista heard “Aziz” and wrote “Isis” than that the barista has any concept of the Islamic terrorist organization “ISIS.”
I’m not saying my daughter is an unutterable dimwit, but the people she works with ... ne Zot!
Invited them to my home for morning coffee and breakfast.
Went to Starbuck's less than 5 minutes away and bought their regular basic cup of OVER-PRICED coffee to go.
Back at home, before I left for Starbuck's, I started a pot of coffee using Brita faucet filtered drinking water and Maxwell House regular roast and blend coffee.
Served my guest TWO cups of coffee simultaneously. Both cups look the same in terms of the type of cup used. Asked them to compare the taste and flavor
EVERY time I've done this it took no less than 2 or 3 sips from each of my friends declaring the cup containing the MAXWELL HOUSE brew was far tastier and much less acidic and bitter tasting than the cup containing Starbuck's.
My point: I've always thought that same thing from the first few times I tried Starbuck's basic cup of coffee, it tasted like it was either "over-brewed"(burned) or that they used too much coffee to water ratio, making it bitterly strong.
I realize some will tell me I'm crazy and that they love Starbuck's. My experience has always been Starbuck's basic cup of coffee didn't have a quality smooth taste.
Maybe that's WHY everybody loves their lattes and flavors because it covers the basic acidic taste of their coffee.
Just my opinion but I'll continue to make my own coffee using Maxwell House and filtered water.
LMAO! We are so fkd!
Touchscreen ordering is next and more job losses.
I havent been to a Starbucks. Why the name thing ? Is Number 53 dehumanizing? If I do happen to wind up in a Starbucks, Id want a name that stands out. Something like Bueller or perhaps Spartacus.

That’s because you and them are used to crappy home made American style coffee.
You want a good coffee? Make it Turkish style or an Espresso with high quality beans. Each sip is to die for - none of this watered down crap.
Yes, I’m picky about my coffee.
That was good-—
and it became even better when I saw from whence it came.
I have a niece and a nephew that might be your daughter’s co-workers (except that they are in Ohio).
Nice kids. Not sure who won the Revolutionary War (ok, that may not be all of them . . . the joys of public education).
