I agree, except for the Brita filter part.
I used to have a Brita. Then someone bought me a Zero Water filter.
Holy crap, what a difference!
Right on!
Thanks! I will buy and try one
OBTW, my friend loves using that water bottle and everyone thinks it is hilarious. He told me that no one has ever made a disparaging comment. My friend is a salesman and he uses it as an attention gainer.
Reminds me of “Ayds”, the diet supplement, in the early 80s.
So what are your suggestions I might buy and try for each of your suggestions? ( Turkish & Expresso )
Obama called it ISIL, not ISIS.
If the Barista really meant to call the Arab Dude something, she would have written ISIL.
There isn’t a Starbucks Barista alive who didn’t love Obama and hang on his every word. Not a one.
I like coffee. Period.
As I got older, the weaker coffee I grew up with bothered my stomach, so I adapted to much stronger coffee but MUCH less often.
I have a Capresso espresso machine that does fine with Bustelo, but other machines make the same coffee but it has a different taste. Experiment.
My last espresso machine didnt do so well with Bustelo so i used Verena Street Shot Tower Espresso, a midwest brand. Delicious to me.
I don’t go there, myself. I’m dead cheap, and I make coffee at home using the Sam’s Choice ground in the big tin with the lowest price per ounce.
I assume the name was supposed to be friendly and personal.
She’s had it with Starbucks. Next week, she starts a job at Panera as a baker on the overnight shift. Full time!
It’s mind-boggling how ignorant young people are. One can’t expect youth to be wise, but come on, basic facts!
I’m not picky on the bean variety particularly, Turkish I can enjoy pretty much any variety, for espresso I go for Lavazza because of my experience when living in Europe, medium roast is my go to on pretty much everything. If I want a good, cheap coffee I can make at home with almost no investment, I go for Turkish. Espresso is a whole different ball game, it requires specialty equipment that is expensive.
I was only writing about the method of brewing - a basic ibrik (the small metal pot) doesn’t cost much, 10-15 bucks, very finely ground coffee 1 to 2 tbsp (I prefer 2) and about 2 oz of water, add sugar to taste, for me just a tbsp, and allow to boil till bubbles/foam form. Some cultures boil twice, though I never have (just following family tradition), let it rest for a 20 seconds after, pour, and let rest another minute.
Unfiltered coffee has a light texture, but the flavor that comes through is out of this world.
Biggest consideration compared to US style coffee is allowing it to rest and the much smaller cups comparatively.
If the shoe fits...
Asses.
Donkey.
Isis.
Aziz.
whatever
I call B.S. :)
LOL!
Call whatever you'd like.. IT IS WHAT OCCURRED.
You more than likely think JFK and MLK died from natural causes.
"to each his own"
