Always carry pepper spray so if a libtard gets in your face, you can hose them down without having to choose between backing down or escalating to lethal force.
“...the legal definition is that 75% of the firearm is unobservable. This definition has been used to obtain convictions...”
Obtain a CCW, and carry openly. If your shirt hides it a little, you’re good, if it doesn’t, you’re good.
The only libtard that ever gets within 100 yards of me is my retarded BIL who hasnt had a job in 35 years. Since I only have to tolerate him for about an hour a month hosing him down with pepper spray does sound like fun I doubt my wifes sister would forgive me.
I think the real point I’m trying to make is that if it happens, nothing that matters to us now will matter.
I was flying into Ohare once, about a decade ago and, as I looked down at the sheer quantity of buildings and roads, it struck me just how BIG our infrastructure is. If someone was to try to destroy it, it would be an enormous undertaking, even with nukes. There is just so much to destroy. Ultimately, all you can really do is so destroy the culture that it makes all of that “stuff” useless.
And, again, if we get to that point, nothing will be as we expected. Nothing.
Depends on the state. Some states will go after you for, “Brandishing,” but many are getting rid of that issue.
Consider the possibility that so many issues we now consider unresolvable problems would disappear overnight. Libtards? CNN? Illegal aliens? Gun control? It might get ugly the potential is enormous.
I once thought open carry was retarded but am changing my mind. Now I want to have libtards seeing guns everywhere they go. Normalize it.”
Normalize it is the correct answer, and not that long ago it was normal. I graduated HS in 92, and all of us had gun racks in our trucks with rifles or shotguns in them depending on what hunting season was open at the time. And where did I grow up? Northern California.
So you see, it wasn’t that long ago, that the sight of a gun did not scare people. It did not immediately warrant a hail of gunfire from law enforcement.
The removing of guns from the public did a great disservice to the second amendment and to our country.
Now all I see is people talking about concealed carry, as if it is better than open carry. I would caution all on that, do we not remember history? At a time, it was considered nefarious to conceal a firearm, that your intentions must be bad if you hide it. That was how normalized guns were in the old days.
Oh and lastly, we need open carry, cause concealing a rifle is awful hard to do...
Arizona has allowed open carry for years ... they’re used to it.
I prefer to carry concealed so if some yahoo enters a store Im in with Intent to rob it and sees me before I see him. He might decide to take out a possible threat first.
Exactly. I never saw much point in letting everyone know that you are carrying. At best, you give up a critical tactical advantage; at worst, you end up in a box. On a ranch, fine; in your local stop n rob, not so much.
Many say to harden your place, so the crooks look for an easier target.
Security measures that are unknown are unlikely to be a deterrent.
Outstanding!
Arizona never "allowed" open carry. It has always been a right there, as it has been in most of the country.
Some leftist judges were starting to attack the right to carry, in Arizona, 20 years ago.
There was a ruling where a judge ruled, if an officer could not see your holstered firearm, because it was on the side of your body away from him, it was considered "concealed".
There was another ruling where a judge claimed that a law banning carry in a public park did not violate the right to bear arms, because a person could just "choose not to go into the park".
These ruling were met with activism. The activists pushed the legislature to change the law to nullify both judges actions.
Now Arizona is rated as the top gun friendly state in the Union.
It did not happen by accident, or without expenditure of time, money, and risk.
The Arizona Citizens Defense League is one of the top state activist groups in the U.S.A.
Hose her down too.
Just as an experiment, I wonder if you would get a response if you wore a MAGA hat at the same time?
Hilarity if some radical approached you with intent to harass you because of the hat, then saw your firearm and moon walked.
Of course, any of the above might get some fruitcake to call the police about you. “He was wearing a hat. I felt threatened!”
By now, the 911 operators in AZ, when told that someone has a gun, are feeling inclined to ask if they are also wearing shoes.
It isn't easy to remain alert enough to protect your open carry.
Can you walk in public and ensure nobody comes within 21 feet?
I lived out there in ‘85. It came as quite a surprise to me the first time I saw someone openly carrying a revolver in a holster. Found out that it was perfectly legal. So yes, Arizona allowed it. But I understand your point ... it’s a constitutional right.
We had a guy walk in Kroger just in front of us open carrying the other day. Nobody said boo.
Call Planned Parenthood. They're skilled at splitting babies for body parts.
Can you walk in public and ensure nobody comes within 21 feet?
Lots of people openly carry holstered pistols.
The numbers that are attacked and/or disarmed are tiny, on the order of 2 or 3 per decade.
More concealed carriers are attacked and disarmed because the perp did not know they were armed.
We can create all the fictional "what if" scenarios we wish. In reality, your concern about being attacked because you openly carry, happens so seldom as to be a non-problem. Most of it can be prevented with a retention holster.
