Mark espoused Conservative beliefs for at least 20 years, and then tried to destroy a man whose platform was everything Mark had ever asked for.
Now I am told that Mark was a big supporter of Trump. B. S.
From the Convention until September 6th, Mark kept up his trashing of Trump, even though he know who Trump was facing.
He knew along with the rest of us it was going to be Trump a month prior to the July Republican Convention. He spent three months blistering Trump until after the first of September anyway.
Mark now talks up Trump policy, because he has no choice. If he had continued doing as he had, he wouldn’t have one listener today. So in truth, it was personal interest not what was best for the nation.
If I recall accurately, I still think I heard some barbs out of him after September 6th too.

When I think what could have happened, if Hillary was elected because Mark, Ted, Glenn, Mitch, and Ryan all trashed Trump, it takes away the slightest tinge of telling it like it is about them.

I listened to him telling everyone that he was voting for Trump, and then I listened to him give all the reasons Trump was an SOB and that (essentially) everyone else would be an idiot to vote for Trump.
As I said up thread, he’s dead to me.

The Left doesn't like him. We don't like him. He says stuff against our beliefs, and thinks he's going to get a big following from the Leftists. No he won't. He's a rich White male, the perfect example of a privileged class. He doesn't get that. He offends us to get them, and loses both camps. I hate that Mark came very close to helping Hillary Clinton win the presidency in 2016. He, Ted Cruz, Glenn Beck, Mitch McConnell, and Paul Ryan were dead set against Trump.
Some of them, perhaps all came around at the last minute, but who knows how many people stayed home because of them, perhaps even turning the House over to the Democrats as a result.
We’ll never know the truth of it. Now Mark is selling himself again, and folks are just so thrilled because he is so right on right now.
If we had all acted as these people did in 2016, do you think Trump would have won?
So now you let a guy who betrayed his own stated beliefs in 2016, spout those beliefs now not knowing when he’ll betray you again.
