Report: CIA Deep State Actors Linked to Origin of Russia Hoax Lawyer Up

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) review into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax probe has reportedly prompted some CIA analysts in the crosshairs of investigators to lawyer up.

NBC News made the revelation on Monday, adding that DOJ “has found something significant” and expanded the review.

The news outlet also found: [Connecticut U.S. Attorney John] Durham has also requested to talk to CIA analysts involved in the intelligence assessment of Russia’s activities, prompting some of them to hire lawyers, according to three former CIA officials familiar with the matter. And there is tension between the CIA and the Justice Department over what classified documents Durham can examine, two people familiar with the matter said.

U.S. Attorney General William Barr has tapped Durham to conduct the investigation.

DOJ would not say whether the investigation has morphed into a criminal probe, NBC News acknowledged.

It isn’t really possible to change the culture in such a short time nor is it possible to change the government culture in such a short time. I once thought it was possible, but from what has happened in the first term has dissuaded me of any confidence much can really change.

This warning came 30 years ago.

It will take at least 40 years to undo it.

PING

The prosecutor conducting the review, Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham, has expressed his intent to interview a number of current and former intelligence officials involved in examining Russia's effort to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, including former CIA Director John Brennan and former director of national intelligence James Clapper, Brennan told NBC News.

The political elite were using insider info to make killings on the stock market. They were about to be exposed, so they targeted Martha Stewart (because she didn't donate to the crooks) to distract the public while they went through the process of passing a bill which allowed them to invest in the stock market even though they have insider info.

Comey was, and is, their expert in taking down innocents to cover for government fraud.

Is it politically correct to ask for blood?

Powers, Rice, Rhodes, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Strozk, Page, Ohr, Ohr, Baker, Preisap, Yates, Brennan and Klapper.

Treason or sedition?

No quarter given.

And some here were OVERJOYED to see Rudy’s name attached to something sleazy.

One guy who can NEVER do enough to please too many here.

Because even though he’s one of VERY FEW die hard early on Trump supporters, he’s not a “pure breed”.

He’s not making those kinds of decisions so why does it matter now?

It’s been 15 months since McCabe was referred for non coup related prosecution. And what has happened? Nothing.

McCabe was fired from his position in a very timely manner; he has lost his pension and any chance of ever working in law enforcement again. (I don’t recall any accusations of foot-dragging by the Justice Department when that happened.)

The problem with prosecuting him before any others is that the prosecution would have to present evidence that may jeopardize any or all of their open investigations. From the looks of how this may shake out, McCabe may be one if the smaller fish.

We’re in that part of the timeline where evidence of wrongdoing is becoming clearer but we’re not yet at that point where it’s obvious to all.

“some CIA analysts...lawyer up.”

All standing in a circle, pointing to each other, in unison: “He made me do it!”

Somewhat true. Not leaked to them. They are allowed to review and make changes. Politicians have made the rules so they all walk.

If all these DS scum were charged, we wouldn’t have to worry about the Dem Party again. They would be “gone”. Thus 2025 would not be a worry event. Gotta light a fire under Barr/Durham. They are too slow.

McCabe was referred for prosecution for leaking during the Obama admin. Nothing coup related at all. Despite that the “Trump” DOJ have played political football with him for over a year. The bottom line is nobody in the DOJ wants to prosecute McCabe to the benefit of Trump. It’s that simple.

They sound quite upset about this. Lol. Good. They should be!

“ But Durham has been busy on other fronts. He traveled with Barr to the United Kingdom and Italy in an effort to examine the contributions of foreign countries to the Russia probe. A Justice Department spokeswoman said the list of countries being examined includes Ukraine, but she declined to say whether Durham is investigating “corruption related to the DNC server,” as Mulvaney put it in his Thursday news conference.

Mulvaney appeared to be referencing a conspiracy theory, mentioned by President Trump in his July phone call with the Ukrainian president, that a Democratic National Committee computer server hacked by Russian intelligence agents is actually in Ukraine.”

Stalling by finding new allegations to investigate is one way to never bring anyone to justice. Amazing how that works.

Isn't the President the ultimate classifying authority? If he says give the documents to Durham, they don't have a choice (other than hiding or destroying the documents, but that is a deep state matter).

I’m not sure it is that simple; we have no idea what kind of discussions are taking place behind closed doors. McCabe certainly doesn’t want to be indicted, and we don’t know if he is giving up information or not.

To be clear, I have no idea (or optimism) about where this is going to end.

But as long as there is an active investigation underway, I think it’s a mistake to assume that there is a cover-up in place.

I think a lot of media figures are wrapped up in some of these crimes too. Hopefully they will be exposed and punished for their crimes.

There should be no CIA as it currently exists. There should be detectives/investigators representing every legal jurisdiction in the USA, revolving through the CIA. Take the ‘Central’ out of the CIA.
