“There’s some reasons that governments probably are supporting this (stuff)”
Countries are bankrupt. States are bankrupt. Cities are bankrupt. This is true in far more cases than not.

Christians have been persecuted since the early church. Persecution is the normal Christian life. It is the recent freedom of religion that is unusual. It's now ending and going back to normal.

However, the claims concerning the reason for the arrest of the preacher are erroneous and the actual justification had nothing to do with sympathy for progressive causes or however you want to put it. You disobey a lawful order from LE and you’re going to get arrested.
