I think that the liberals who have an IQ over 100 (and that would not be a majority of them) realize that what the liberals have been doing to us recently would justify a level of rage that could cause civil war to erupt.
The so-called "impeachment inquiry", designed to overturn the 2016 election, is not going their way. They are realizing that there is no easy way out of the corner they have painted themselves into.
In a just world Christine Blasey-Ford would be facing jail time for perjury and the Feinstein conspiracy against Kavanaugh would be front page news. The fake media holds much responsibility for the wrongheadedness of much of our population. It is they who should wake up in terror after nightmares depicting their just deserts.
I will argue that while what you say is true, the fear , the mortal fear, is of the coming indictments on a scale so massive as to be unbelievable.

I've lost track of what is happening with McCabe. A person does not get justifiably fired one day before qualifying for a pension without having committed an egregious act.

A few things might ignite payback and pushback. Reparations is one. If people quietly grumbled about the MLK holiday (I personally heard several different staunch liberal Dems do that over the years) what will they say about the 2021 and afterward deductions from all paychecks and earning as fees or sales of home or cars going straight to reparations?
Plus still being called “white racist white supremacists who owe it to us people of color” after paying reparations.

I think we’re going to have to agree to disagree FRiend. I think 0bama is as far to the Left as America will go. If the Dems run a radical, either Bernie or Warren, s/he will get slaughtered in the general election.
As for early voting, it doesn’t just benefit seniors. It also benefits us working stiffs who may not be able to get off work on a Tuesday. If we’re going to get rid of early voting we should at least move Election Day to a Saturday or Sunday. Otherwise the people who will vote will be disproportionately those on welfare, and we really don’t want that
Getting funding was also problematic. It seemed like a good idea that a couple other past FR posters came up with. Don't think they want their names mentioned anymore, but I respect them so much and still in my thoughts.
