Tucker Carlson reflected Monday on House Democrats' impeachment push, declaring that Democrats have "lost" public support on the issue and the media is to blame.
"Democrats have been talking about impeachment since the very day that Trump was inaugurated, but until recently, no one here in Washington took that idea very seriously," Carlson said on "Tucker Carlson Tonight. "Suddenly, we had impeachment hearings playing out live on TV. Nobody explained why. Looking back, what exactly happened? Well, part of the answer is that Democrats were simply responding to their own cheerleaders on cable news."

Mollie Hemingway made a good point, that after 2 years of Democrats and their Big Media pals endlessly hyping “Russian collusion” - then producing nothing - the general public no longer trusts these bozos.
So they can scream all they want about “devastating”, “damaging”, and “game-changing” testimony, doesn’t matter ... no one believes what they have to say any more.

When you think about the odds, these Cretans couldn’t win an election WITH THE MEDIA, cant win on impeachment WITH THE MEDIA, will lose the next election disastrously WITH THE MEDIA, not to mention with the help of the CIA, DOJ, FBI, PENTAGON and the partridge in a pear tree. There are forces foreign and domestic and this didn’t help them either. Trump needs to purge the agencies of unlike minded leftovers and spys , we win

As has been noted the media is an integral part of the left. But the media has a distinct advantage over the politicians of the left. While leftist politicians have to stand for re-election periodically, the media does not. Therefore the media can support any hair-brained person, idea, or scheme and suffer no ramifications when that fails. The media is even less accountable than your average DC bureaucrat.
Much of the fourth estate is/are simply a bunch of fifth columnists. There needs to be some way to balance the scales. Many in the leftist media should be held accountable and some should pay the ultimate price for treason.
I believe that the DemonRATs in the House have used the impeachment as an excuse to do nothing. The District of Corruption has become an Animal House with a never ending wild booze party on the cocktail circuit. All this has gotten me to think of President Ronald Reagan who said in his radio address, August 11, 1984:
“All this has gotten me to thinking about a great Democrat. Just 36 years ago, Harry Truman called the 80th Congress the “do-nothing Congress.” One thing is sure: Harry Truman wasn’t afraid of the American people. The phrase ‘hoisted on their own petard’ comes to mind in more ways than one......they are losing the social media battle. Social media created mostly by Libtards. The comments on Youtube about the hero dog Conan press conference were probably 90% positive for President Trump.
Unfortunately, the Democrats are like the Japanese Army in WWII. They’ll continue with kamikaze attacks and banzai charges until the political equivalent of a couple of atom bombs are dropped on them.

What boggles my mind is the Rats can not and do not point to a single reason for opposing PDT, such as Fast and Furious with Obummer (which actually caused people to die).

Want to destroy the MSM? Fairness Doctrine. Now is the time for new rules about fairness and honesty in the media. Force them to label every show, newspaper article, radio show as opinion and what side they are taking. While Hannity would gladly embrace having his show labeled as Conservative, think what would happen if Maddow and Lemon had to label their shows as Liberal?
The Washington Post and New York Times have almost single-handedly destroyed the credibility of the press. That level of stupidity takes my breath away.
The network that put on Rush’s show would have to provide equal time for “the other side”.

And that is why the globalists failed. We all know this was political, a pencil neck Queen of Hearts: "Impeach and remove, and then we'll see if we can find the charges and pretend to hold a trial to justify that predetermined verdict."
