I found it on Bloomberg while googling Singer, and FR won’t allow me to post Bloomberg articles, so I had to aim a shotgun at Twitter, and hope somebody would find it for me, but got the text from Bloomberg.
Thanks. I had to dance a jig with the mods just to get the tweets on without finding them on Trump’s twitter, too.
Because Tucker Carlson did a story on Singer, and I wanted background on Singer, which led me to the question of his relationship with Trump, if any.

Incidentally, buyouts of major corporations and all subsidiaries don’t happen with a wave of a wand. The SEC and FCC would keep it wrapped up in red tape possibly for years. So Singer hasn’t even had a chance to make his will known on CNN yet.

The number of ultra rich who support trump is small to none because of one thing: they cannot buy him or control him with their money. They use those they can control as pawns to do their bidding. Carlson made a decent comparison of the “robber barons” of the nineteenth century to the current mega rich last night pointing out they at least kept touch with the common person i e Carnegie built many libraries and rockerfeller made huge land grants whereas most of today’s ultra rich are interested in accumulating money. While not sure of the accuracy of that notion it does appear to be true. Kind of like Gordon Gecco saying the one with the most toys when they die wins!

All I meant was, “Where’s the beef?” This story and tweet is several months old. I was expecting new information. There is none.
I might have missed this in September, but I personally don’t want FreeRepublic riddled with six month old tweets and stories with no new information. The least that could have been done, was put the date of the tweet in the title. Also, the link doesn’t even go to the tweet, it goes to the current tweets (not Sep 9th).
The new development is Tucker Carlson’s expose of this creep. Sorry I didn’t make that clearer. But his expose left a few questions unanswered, and I had to do some gymnastics to find the missing pieces and also present what I found. The date of the story is in its usual place.
His son, it seems, considers testicles optional, depending whether he’s a pitcher or a catcher or both.

Bought by a Thai firm, but that firm is heavily invested in China. Look at the headline at the top of the magazine this week: "Why Trump is bad for business". Outrageous. Fortune is no longer independent or American. It's now a Chinese and Silicon Valley monopolist propaganda tool. |
