Someone needs to make a campaign ad about him running as a democrat, then a republican, then as an independent, and now again as a democrat. PDJT would have a blast running against this guy.
The cold open was a Democratic Presidential Candidate debate on PBS, and Bloomberg shows up as one of the candidates. The moderator asks how he got on, since he didn't qualify for the debate.
His answer was "for $30 million PBS is now owned by viewers like me. I even got a tote bag."
Bloomberg is making a dent in the polls. He’ll spend 2 billion to get what he wants.
I can imagine how many democrats really want to get rid of the billionaire president who creates jobs and replace him with a billionaire president who wants to take our soft drinks from us. That will be an interesting sell with the woke activists.
Trump won the Presidency by underspending every other campaign...
Bloomberg thinks he can buy it by spending more than every other campaign....
Well the upside is that 500 Millenials with Political Science degrees will be off of welfare for a few months.
Just helping the economy along. A few million
here another million over there, etc.
Same here. Every time his commercial airs I think about Big Gulps. Bloomberg wants to micromanage every aspect of our lives!
Instead of creating welfare for Democratic staffers, he could have been feeding the hungry, buying homes for the homeless, etc.
Complete sociopath—full stop.
I think Tom Steyers ads are even worse.
What is the motivation for this pompous a$$ to spend all that money to become president? More money? I doubt it. More likely a passion to turn this country into a marxist redistributionist hellhole. Why does he want so passionately to destroy this country and to turn it into the failed soviet union?
Bloomberg is coming out with guns blazing.
Er, maybe not the guns. Isn’t he already running on a gun confiscation pledge?
Maybe he will just have his people kick over the restaurant tables where extra-large sugary drinks have been served.
You may get the idea Bloomberg is not a serious candidate. He is serious all right, about as serious as cancer.
The headline writer needs an editor, I think.
That, or Bloomie hired 15,000 people.
Ok, it’s ok to be sick, but here’s my take
Bloomberg is the only candidate with actual executive experience. (the queer was mayor but he’s queer) Bloomberg has a tremendous credential. He was mayor of New York
At some point, Biden is going to be destroyed by Rudy Ukraine revelations. That leaves no candidate for the mass of democrats that eschew the radical socialists.
Bloomberg is the nominee by default
QED
A BILLION is a thousand million. He has several billions. That expense is little more than a “P” in the pool to him.
So, if you can’t stand billionaire Trump ...does that mean you will vote for billionaire Bloomberg?
I just know he’s dumping boatloads of money for ads here in Washington state.
Still trying to figure out how the Mayor of NYC creates hundreds of thousands of jobs, controls health care access and insurance for families, etc...the only claim I haven’t heard him make is with respect to foreign policy.
i think the destruction of the two billion dollar hillary campaign anointed by all the powers-that-be by a game show host who was minimally funded should have demonstrated to everyone by now that it takes WAY more than just a gigantic pile of money to win a Presidential campaign ...
you can only saturate TV with so many millions of boring ads that people tune out after a couple of times, and just hiring tons of campaign staffers, pollsters, campaign consultants and campaign managers may not do much more than enrich all of those employees ...
and even more fundamentally, the interest has provided a vast number of alternative sources of news and opinions, and social media and email have provided nearly and infinite number of ways for people to connect and discuss things, while the dying lying leftist Democrat fake stream enemedia has lost its ability to control the way people think ...
i’d be very surprised if Bloomberg manages to win the Dem nomination based on winning primary delegates ... his only real chance would be if no one gets a majority of delegates by the time the convention starts, and even then, it’s not clear there’s enough delegates for sale for him to win ...
It is unfair for him to enter the race this late when multiple other Democrats have dropped out.
