Orson was the late Andrew Breitbart's father-in-law.
RIP, Mr. Bean.

what a sad way to go. Make to 91 and get taken out by a car. Hope the driver had insurance.

Breitbarts Father in Law.
One of the funniest raconteurs that ever lived.
I loved when he would come on Millers show and they would just riff for a couple of hours.

It’s not necessarily the driver’s fault, as he was jaywalking. His clothing may not have been reflective enough to be easily seen as well.
It’s a terrible accident in any case.

well there you go..shows i didn’t read the story
When driving in a congested area i am always worried someone is going to pop out in front me from a parked car..etc.
..I carry good insurance. Too many unknowns.

I remember him from old 1950s game shows. I think I also recall reading that he was a major league leftist...but I'm far from certain of that.

Funny guy but a real strange bird in reals life, socialist and liked to sit and read in his backyard in the nude with his kids.....and had no problem talking about it on the Tonight Show with Carson. Still, he was a funny guy and made lots of people laugh and that was a terrible way to go.
Prayers for him and his family.

Hey, sorry if what I wrote offended your sensibilities, I in no way knocked Bean's talent or accomplishments, but if you ever heard him back in the day on Carson you would know what his politics were and his socialistic and bizarre views on education and child rearing.
Again a very talented man, made me laugh, large body of work that entertained many people.

He was in a classic Twilight Zone episode in 1960, played the hapless Mr. Bevis. His guardian angel tries to help him, to comic effect.
