Key juror questioned in Roger Stone case
The Hill ^ | 02 25 2020 | Harper Neidig and John Kruzel

Posted on 02/25/2020 4:27:17 PM PST by yesthatjallen

A key juror from Roger Stone’s trial was questioned in court on Tuesday over allegations that she prejudiced the jury that convicted the longtime GOP political operative, with the juror also facing public attacks from President Trump on Twitter.

In a lengthy hearing in a court in Washington, D.C., Judge Amy Berman Jackson brought in the juror, Tomeka Hart, to answer to accusations that she provided misleading answers about her political bias — a claim that Stone says justifies a new trial.

Hart said she stood by the answers she gave during jury selection, in which she said she could fairly act as a juror in the case. She said in a written questionnaire at the time that she did not remember ever posting about Stone or any other figures involved in the case.

“I was zeroed in about Roger Stone in responding to that question, but I still didn’t remember,” she said Tuesday.

“I was zeroed in about Roger Stone in responding to that question, but I still didn’t remember,” she said Tuesday. Following which her pants spontaneously combusted into flames.

"Yes, she posted when Stone was arrested."

I think Hannity just said, "She applauded when Stone was arrested." What is it about this woman's remarks that keeps people from quoting exactly what she wrote?

My prediction: ‘While her answers may appear to be misleading, I can find no intent’

She maintains her innocence.

The Juror can lie but Roger Stone can’t lie. Got it...

Nothing will come from it. It is a waste of time. Only Trump supporters will go to prison. Comey walks, McCabe walks, Hillary walks. They all walk. And they are still going after President Trump. And they will continue to do so until they get him or time ends.

Indeed. Regarding the Carter Page warrant they actually forged documents too. The court has already invalidated the last 2 renewals and is reviewing the first two. They withheld exculpatory information and failed to inform the court when they had new information that changed the meaning of the original application.

They definitely denied Flynn his civil rights. They lied to him about being under investigation. They denied him is right to legal representation. Comey even bragged about getting away with denying him his right to counsel. They had the transcript of his conversation but did not reveal that to him; instead they quizzed him to see if he would lie or misstate - but even one of the agents wrote that he was not being deceptive. They just wanted to take him out because he was a threat to their power. There are texts between Strzok/Lisa Page where they talk about using and recruiting WH “informants” to feed them information about Trump’s WH.

The FBI tried to use their “Crossfire Hurricane” information to obtain the warrants but even their own attorneys would not sign off on it as sufficient probable cause. Then conveniently Steele was “let go” to freelance for the DNC dirty tricks outfit and shows up with this Hoax Dossier, which they used internally inside the FBI to get it past their own legal department (without, of course, informing their attorneys that the information was either not verified or known to be false) and then file with the court. Some of the information in that Dossier had already been debunked by the FBI before it was written. And they broke their own rules by not following proper vetting procedures, by accepting the information from a source they terminated (at least officially) for cause, and who was known to have political bias and paid for by a political campaign. There is no question in my mind that someone else wrote the memos and gave them to Steele to pass to the FBI as part of a conspiracy to weaponize the FBI to spy on the political campaign.

There is no question in my mind that the CIA set up the foreign operations in order to trigger the FBI’s operation. They even arranged to give Papadopoulos $10,000 in cash just before he flew into the USA. Fortunately for him he was wise to something and left the cash with his European lawyers - but I am certain they had hoped to catch him at the airport with the cash and bust him for not declaring it, and also to raise suspicion why this guy had $10k in cash on him - “he must be corrupt”. And indeed they nabbed him at the airport the minute he arrived. They knew he had been given that money. And as far as it goes, whatever PapaD may have said to that Aussie Ambassador is double hearsay. They had no reasonable basis to believe PapaD had any first hand knowledge of anything. It was a sting and a set-up.

The whole episode is a disgrace. Even Manafort, while he shouldn’t have cheated on his taxes, they never would have investigated him if they didn’t get the the phony black ledger from Ukraine. And they wouldn’t have had the Mueller special counsel investigation if they didn’t fake all of the evidence. All of the convictions/arrests are fruit of the poisonous tree.

What is it that prevents you from doing a bit of searching and learning for yourself what she said? There is a website at www.google.com that works well for that kind of thing.

You could, for example, read Ms. Hart's tweets. Like this one.

Or you could find articles like this one

Thanks for the post. However, in defense of William Tell, “social media” males it difficult to find some of these tweets.

Sounds like Flynn’s first set pf lawyers.Failure to adequately represent. This Judge is clearly “in the bag”. I bet we find out at some point there were “mischief” in this lady getting on the jury. This was her third trial as a juror.

This was her third trial as a juror.

What were the other cases about? I agree she should not have been on the Stone jury, but if the other cases were traffic cases, the defense might not care.

I think this is the same judge who is also prejudiced and it should be a no-brainer that he get a new trial on appeal.

“I bet we find out at some point there were ‘mischief’ in this lady getting on the jury.”

I posted that a couple days ago — that the judge most likely whispered to the clerk names of people she wanted in the jury pool. This was no coincidence.

Thanks...that’s a great summation. I’d forgotten about the $10,000 they tried to hoist on Papadopoulos. I hope to see these corrupt agents and lawyers get their just desserts sometime, and hopefully it will be done before I drop dead.

Another juror said that the foreperson even slowed down deliberations so that the jury could more carefully consider one of the charges.

Maybe she slowed it down because they were going to acquit on that charge and she wanted him guilty on all?

Why should Judge Jackson throw out her hard won conviction over such an insignificant thing as a lying, corrupt, biased juror? I mean, who are they going to appeal to, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals? Please! The DC Circuit makes the 9th look conservative. Judge Jackson knows every Judge on the DC Circuit personally, and she herself will be join them as soon as a dem is elected. She. Doesn’t. Care.

Thanks. I quit facebook just days after joining when a relative dumped on me unjustifiably. I simply don't have time for that kind of nonsense.

At the links supplied above I do not see any mention of "Stone" by the juror. I do see mention of "aides". I think it sufficient to disqualify the juror based on claimed hatred of Trump. I think the juror should have disqualified herself and the judge should have disqualified the juror.

I can see a problem due to the fact that practically everyone in the country has an opinion of Trump that would make it hard to seat a jury. I still haven't seen what Stone supposedly did to protect Trump.

In DC street language, Hart is known as “BBL” - black bitch lying. Jackson is now known as “WBL” - white bitch lying.

Seems to be a common illness among Democrat women.

Seems possible but I suspect she knew it would look suspicious if they wrapped up too quickly, so she padded it out some.
