Ron Paul Claims Coronavirus Could Be ‘A Big Hoax,’ Excuse To Take Rights Away
Daily Caller ^ | March 16 2020 | JUSTIN CARUSO

Former Republican congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul claimed that Coronavirus may be a “big hoax” and wondered why Democrats are so suddenly quick to give President Donald Trump new powers.

“It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans,” Paul wrote in a column for his site.

Ron Paul continues to fuel speculation that maybe H. Ross Perot never died after all.

Not a hoax. But an excuse to take rights away. Just like 911.

He said that the use of armored bulldozers and tanks with plow attachments to clear trenchlines in the ‘90 to ‘91 Gulf War was tantamount to a war crime.

Evidently we were supposed to charge those trenches with fixed bayonets and trench knives.

Then he was on the morning talk shows elaborating on that position about the time a lot of us finally got back stateside.

Thats who and what Ron Paul is, and everyone who defends him is going to also get to defend thats.

While the Left is famous for not letting a crisis go to waste I believe our President is astute at recognizing the opportunities that present in the present situation. He also has a track record of achievement. I think America stands to be in a much better position on several front from POTUS using the Lefts hysteria against them.

The virus is real, but I don’t think the national response is warranted for such a weak thing as it is. Way overblown, and yes and government power grab. It’s a test to see how far things can go. How far they can push us all.

Interesting. What exactly was the problem with this in his view? What do you mean by the word, “attachments”?

The Chinese physician was tested 5 times with negative results. The 6th time he tested positive & died within a week.

So, you believe the Chinese? That means you believe that there were only 21 cases yesterday and only 3226 confirmed deaths from Corona there? That in a nation that had its first case in November and has more than billion people?

You people are so funny. It's to bring down Trump...its a hoax. It's not a hoax - its "being turned into a panic by dems"..."Never let a crisis go to waste"..."The restaurant closure areas are almost all Democrats who want to “feel their oats" (even though these are recommended by the presidents team with him standing there)..."his thing is being way overblown by the democrats"..."Corrupt media"..."

So - Trump (who is smart - intelligent - never misses an opportunity to tweet what he really thinks and isn't shy about disagreeing) ALL OF THE SUDDEN is on board with his destruction. Everyone on here who is SO AGAINST THIS is blaming everyone for the actions recommended by Trump and his team - BUT TRUMP AND HIS TEAM.

The cognitive dissonance on display here is MASSIVE. You people are a piece of work and no better than the people who supported Obama blindly for 8 years.

There is a reason our great president is doing what he is doing - and it is because he IS smart and he knows a LOT MORE than you do. He knows what Benji knows in Israel: SHUT IT DOWN.

So either blame the SOURCE - and stop being a hypocrite - or support your president....because right now you - and all these idiot posts - are undermining him at every turn.

For one thing most voters don’t really know or understand our Constitution nor our Republican form of government.

For another thing too many trust the news and politicians to be honest and are easily manipulated into approval of foolish policies.

Whilst the American government has overall been better than all the others it has ignored good sense, common decency, and the “guaranteed” rights of citizens;as well as broken treaties and violated its own declared neutrality.

Persons who insist that everyone actually follow all the specifics of agreements and constitions are seldom popular.

The doctor was speaking out on twitter to alert the world. He had been pposting all along. Each data bit is grist for the mill. There is much more data than that showing the tests have been negative when virus was present based on later testing.

Attachments are things which can be affixed to other things.
A plow attachment is a grader blade which can be put on the front of a large vehicle to move snow or dirt.

They. Are frequently put on tanks to allow them to dig a pit in which they can be so low in the ground that only the turret from the main gun up can be seen or targeted from the most likely approach direction.

Wars are not high society duals among the aristocracy.
There is no obligation to make your personnel just as likely to die as their opponents (Ron Paul’s beliefs to the contrary) and the dug in Iraqi troops were offered surrender terms before the battles commenced.

Maybe Iraq shouldn’t have invaded Kuwait.

Here’s the thing-—IF people follow the guidelines and everyone actually stays in for 2 weeks this thing could all but disappear in time for summer which will probably be accompanied by a massive rebound in the economy.

I think what our current administration s suggesting will work and I think the dem governors are accidentally playing right into a trap on this.

It’s not a hoax, but a media driven and overhyped virus to hurt Trump’s economy, without question.

“...Concur. I don’t think this is a hoax, but this has been blown way over-the-top out of proportion....”

While there IS a factual, real medical situation going on, yes, the usual suspects ARE blowing it way out of proportion, and for political reasons.

What is an area where Trump is strongest?
The economy.

What is this manufactured crisis doing?
Attempting to TANK the economy.

Ask “Who benefits” from the panic, hysteria and chaos, especially when their nominee is either an old Bolshevik or an old arrogant POS?

One thinks back to the Dark Years of 2009-2016, when a certain POTUS allowed EBOLA patients into the country...and one does NOT remember the panic, the hysteria, the democrat-controlled areas shutting down, the media saying “Ebola Ebola Ebola” every five minutes on every station.

One wonders about that... one does, when one wonders ...

Trump is strongest on national defense.

His policies minimizing our involvement in undeclared wars and in securing the border are stellar.

Yes his achievements in the economy are great, but they are a very distant second place to his national defense achievements.
