You are right, I listened to the article and see your point, my

initial reaction was thinking he was bashing the recovery and

shutdown efforts. It takes me a couple of hours in the morning

to comprehend context.1

Yep. Even Tamiflu is old school now. When I had the flu last month (flu-A), I got a new drug called Xofluza; it was great, two pills and I was better within 24 hours.
